Hi I use to love to this place and visiting as a young child but with all these upgrades I feel as if the magic of the place has been lost forever I have always loved the place just the way it was without changing it all I now feel as if a lot of people will be detertered from ever returning to this place as your prices are way way way to expensive for what they are and I feel as if this once amazing great caravan park is being turned in to some massive Big4 Luxury Caravan Park now with all this fancy as rubbish witch the town Doe's need nor want as the town even loved the way it was without changing it all but slowly there will be nothing left of this place and a lot of families will no longer be able to afford these outrageous price's anymore witch is very very sad indeed as for what the cabins along the river are now are way way way to expensive for what they are they are old but lovely for what they are but to charge this outrageous price's for them is just plain greedy and as for the Boom Gate's well they are more of a pain in the backside than a good thing with having to muck around putting annoying passcodes into the pin pads to enter and exit the park now and if you really do end up going ahead with this water park design it is going to feel like being in Melbourne or something like Adventure Park Geelong and Warburton doesn't want this invading there lovely little community otherwise they would just chose to go and live in Melbourne or Geelong or somewhere busy as like that but the reason that they chose to live out that way is to get away from all that rubbish and stuff very very sad indeed RIP OLD WARBURTON CARAVAN...
Read moreA great family friendly park. Regular visitor but missed a few in the pandemic so glad to see the place again. Kids - heaps to do with river access for fishing or floatation, the new water park is a fantastic feature, bike riding tracks and out of fire danger - opportunities for some bush cooking. Pets - didn't bring them along this time and pretty confident they are still grouchy at us. Pet friendly and heaps of space nearby and within for exercise etc. Sites - every site we've stayed on has been generous in size and easily level enough to set a van, camper, tent or swag. Amenities - haven't used the cooking/kitchen facilities but know they exist. Toilets showers are fantastic. Regular cleaning at what we found to be convenient timings. The park can't stop guests from being pigs though - clean up after yourself... including skiddies please. Location - set beneath large forrest hills right on the Yarra.... need I say more. Plenty of native birds, short walk to shops in Warburton. Word of warning - very low tolerance for loud music of an evening and absolutely no music after 10:00 pm. Security staff are courteous enough but very serious on noise. Bike riding after dark is also frowned upon and they will send the kids back to camp if caught. Kids are also sent back from the playground at 10:00 pm. Didn't phase us - but worth letting peeps know.
Overall - a fantastic, relaxing park in a great location. Props to all the team at the park for managing/maintaining to a high standard... see...
Read more5 Stars are not enough for Warburton Holiday Park. It's an excellent place for families and travellers. The amenities are clean and modern. They have available fire pits to use as well. We've just travelled through so can't comment on the other facilities as in accomodation at the park or the water park area. We head a powered caravan site. What we can comment on is the awesome owners and staff. They do their uttermost best to provide the best service, you could ask for in a holiday park, camp sites and amenities. We so appreciated their help when we inadvertently locked ourselves out of our caravan; no key, no phone 😊 Their staff were able to open the door using a newly acquired unlocking key set. Absolutely ecstatic! Can't thank them enough. They wouldn't accept payment either and saw it as being part of the service they provide. Other examples of their wonderful service was seen in helping a person set up their tent, also another that had a flat battery. Highly...
