Illaroo group camping area — Hotel in Minnie Water

I stayed at Illaroo campground for a week and I found it alright. I enjoyed my stay but for a few key reasons I wouldn’t return. One of my biggest problems with this campground is the size of the set camp sites. I stayed on the deluxe camp site which was one of the bigger sites, but it still wasn’t big, I was less than impressed. I didn’t really like the beach because at the entry I entered from, there was a mushi mossy layer on the sand which was really filthy to walk on. One last annoying thing is the placement of the provided fireplaces. Our one was in the most inconvenience spot because it was jammed in the corner. Amazing location and so close to the beach! These were the cleanest drop toilets I've ever encountered. Lot 35 was huge. As you can see in the photo, we had a 3 person dome tent, a small beach sun protection pop up tent plus our huge 3m x 6m gazebo - and we still had a heaps of room behind us for kids to run around and play (or set up another tent and gazebo haha).
