I stayed at Illaroo campground for a week and I found it alright. I enjoyed my stay but for a few key reasons I wouldnât return. One of my biggest problems with this campground is the size of the set camp sites. I stayed on the deluxe camp site which was one of the bigger sites, but it still wasnât big, I was less than impressed. I didnât really like the beach because at the entry I entered from, there was a mushi mossy layer on the sand which was really filthy to walk on. One last annoying thing is the placement of the provided fireplaces. Our one was in the most inconvenience spot because it was jammed in the corner.
