We met friends here, then decided to head home get some camp gear and come back to stay for Australia day. All was well until the park manager and his wife went on a power trip. For 2 days prior we saw people drinking in the pool area, so on Australia day when the pool area was empty, we took a bbq and a few cold drinks to the pool area to have lunch and let the kids enjoy the pool. We had 1 cold drink each and the management went on a rant about us having alcohol in the pool area, tho it was in cans or plastic cups. We werent getting drunk, we werent being loud, were being responsible adults having a chat and allowing the kids to cool down. They tried to belittle my partner and her mother and were very rude about the way the handled the situation even after we left the pool area. Yes there was a sign, but after seeing so many drinking in the pool area and IN the pool we figured it must be a well broken rule. They then tried to tell my partner that we werent booked in and that we should leave. They then worked out that we were entitled to stay and that the other staff memeber had stuffed it up so made us pay more to stay They even threatened us with police even tho all we did was try to explain what was going on. The way they went on their rant was disgusting and embarrassing on their part. After causing no trouble to be treated the way we were, we wont be back. We had even invited more people to support the park as it was very quiet for such a time and we now know why. We spoke to a few of the residents of the park and those we spoke to all said they all disliked the management.. Park management also allowed covid restrictions to be broken AS PER SIGN ON THE GATE, that 20 people minimum were allowed in the area at any time, we saw well over 25 kids in the pool the day before Australia day and family members around the pool. If the signs mattered that much that management needed to ruin a small get away for 3 hard working families which including 3 nurses, then shouldnt those signs be followed every day. Anyway, thats my rant over. We wont be back. And we dont recommend it while current management...

Overall we enjoyed our stay, the one star is for the bizarre booking experience. I am a Reflections member, but couldn't find how to register it on my online booking, so called to book over the phone. Online showed 2 cabins avail, sleeping 5 & 6 ppl (we had 5). Tracy answered the call and for whatever unknown reason manipulated my booking with the following conflicting claims: "We are booked out" "It's a 2-night minimum" "The cabins won't sleep 5 ppl" (me: it shows a double bed and 4 bunk beds) "oh, they are only half-beds" (??!!) "and they are in a hallway" (it's a 2-bedroom!) "there is a big footy thing on and I've been asked to hold them" "you won't be able to book online" (it's letting me book online) "head office looks after it not us, must be a glitch, it's definately booked out" (lucky for you I called then! - no response to that one) "oh you can have a beach tent, I can move some ppl around" "the beach tent is much bigger than the deluxe cabin" (??!! studio vs 2 brm) We needed somewhere for the night... So we stayed in a beach tent on a crazy, wet windy night with the ocean roaring like a freight-train all night; it was awesome, fun novelty, the kids loved it, and cost 50 bucks less than the cabin. Needless to say the deceptive manner we were manipulated was unneccesary. Next morning the whole park was mostly empty, cabins and tiny homes were all quiet with no residents. And Reflection membership was supposed to give me $25 off which we...

After double booking our site we was told to move to another ok not a problem by 8am the manager figured we was not fast enough and came to my door with foul language and a attitude when I asked him to watch his language in front of my 4 year old daughter he took 2 steps back put his hands up and wanted to fight and carried on how he is bikey connected and a very dangerous man his behaviour is criminal like and absolutely appalling this is not the only review of people talking abt his violence methods but doesn't come as a suprise after hearing his racist rants in the office upon check in.... maybe he's just angry you know the whole rise and fall thing from being a so called heavy hitter to a lawnmower who knows but don't take it out on everyone else and in the future mind your language in front of woman and children I'm absolutely disgusted... also when his partner came to retrieve him from our door as they got 30 meters up the road she yelled at him ENOUGH IS ENOUGH YOU HAVE TO STOP DOING THIS πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ for goodness sake how many people have...

We spent the weekend here, and we loved it. Our cabin was spacious and very clean. The beds are super comfy, with beautiful clean rooms. We spent time in the pool, and even though it was a bit cold, the pool was clean, and the area around the pool was well maintained. The grounds are well looked after. The owners and staff really take pride in looking after the park. The mini golf was small but fun. The large camp kitchen, near the kids' playground, was huge, with 2 gas bbq's, a huge wrap around bench, fridge, 2 sinks, a TV, and heaps of seating. This park is well priced, and being so close to the beach is an added bonus

What a gem of a spot!!! Our booking here was last minute and its been one of the best places we've stayed this trip. Mick and Tracey are awesome hosts, I couldn't recommend the place any higher. If you're travelling up or down the east coast and want to have a few days in a quiet peaceful spot right on the beach, then add this to your trip. The regulars also have a communal fire each night and its a great way to socialise with a drink before dinner. 10/10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a lovely park. Easy check in and friendly staff. Well maintained park. Well thought out. Close to everything as in sightseeing small towns around the area and also close to Coffs Harbour for a day trip, only 30 minutes away. Lovely easy walking to the beach and river. It’s pet friendly and even has a doggie bath which is ideal after being at the dog friendly beach.
