Ocean Beach Hideaway — Hotel in Ocean Beach

We stayed here for a week beginning friday of Australia day weekend and had the best time, the challet was perfect just enough for a couple, plus my friend and his partner stayed on the bunk beds for 2 nights and had no complaints. The Andersons were great people and Paul went above and beyond for hospitality, made everything easy and made it feel like a home. From waking up to Kangaroos outside or fishing by the river within a short walk and beautiful beaches everywhere we couldnt have asked for an easier and better stay and will be planning to do the same again next year. Do not recommend. Tiny unit. Tiny. Bumping into every corner. I'm plus size, granted, but this was ridiculous. The toilet area was cramped and very uncomfortable to use. We went to the Visitor Centre to use the public restroom instead. That's how tiny it is. The light switch isn't even in the vacinity of it, that's how small it is. There is no vanity mirror. Everything is dated. The noise from the caravan park next door is annoying. No views. Nothing! I'm so disappointed by this experience. Staying here made my Denmark visit stressful and...

The cabin was old but offered comfortable nights sleep with the location making up for lost luxuries. Loved the online check in and did not need to see anyone to check out either. The wildlife was awesome, fed the magpies, crows and friendly kookaburra out of our hand so take meal worms not human food for wildlife. Kangaroos too , Mum and Joey visited us. Close walk to dog friendly Beach. And not to far too town either. Local attractions beautiful. Would stay again because of locality, space...
