Modern and stylish lodges, well presented. The bed was comfortable and the blanket was warm. There was a spare, although the wicker chest it was contained in was the only horizontal surface that could be used as a suitcase stand, so one would need to remove the case to open it. The basin taps are operated by pushing, which provides about a minute's worth of water before turning off. So if you only need say a half glass of water, a lot is wasted. But there were no glasses, or cups. No wardrobe; just a few coathangers. There was no wifi, not even at the restaurant. (Yes, it's remote, but other remote places accomplish this.) No aircon, just a pedestal fan. The multiple louvred windows were all insect screened, and enabled a choice of privacy or ventilation, but not both at once. The gaps in the floorboards were sealed in the main room, but not the bathroom. Some were 3mm, big enough for enterprising mozzies and creepy crawlies to get through, so I kept the bathroom door shut. Lighting was good, but there was no heating. (Early mornings can be very chilly mid-year.)||I thought the place was very clean until I discovered a good deal of dust on the base of the pedestal fan (see image).||Dinner and breakfast buffets were pretty good. We felt part of the family and experience such amazing service. ||This was our night of glamping for our honeymoon WA Roadtrip and we wished we had the time to stay longer - it was so lovely! ||Compliments the chef as well for the incredible food and to Kai for the most amazing vegan Banana bread (we are by no means vegan but this is a must try - it was so good!!) ||Rooms are beautifully designed and presented, we did have a water issue but the team went over and above to accomodate us best they could and fixed the issue with speed. ||They also have the most spectacular sunset viewing platform - so if you’re staying over I highly recommend it! ||Thank you again to Holly and her amazing team for looking after us so well and we can’t wait to come back! Read moreFantastic time at Purnululu and the Bungle Bungles Lodge. We booked an overnight stay. The day began with a one hour scenic flight over Lake Argyle to Purnululu where we picked up our lunch pack and went on two of the walks, the Domes Walk and Cathedral Gorge where we had lunch in the shade of the Cathedral Dome. Afternoon tea, check in at the Lodge, a refreshing dip in the pool, sunset drinks, fabulous dinner and comfortable stay in our lovely room ended a spectacular day. Return scenic flight to Kununurra next morning over the Bungle Bungles, amazing scenery and Argyle Diamond Mine topped off this wonderful experience. everyone from the bus drivers, flight staff, tour guides and Lodge staff provided excellent friendly and knowledgeable service....
