We stayed in the sea urchin apartment. Really large sized apartment with a huge king sized bed that’s really comfy. Within 50 metres of the beach and closer to the on site pool. the apartment itself is a little dated but it’s comfy. The bathroom is dated but definitely functional. bathtub is a little small but the shower is hot and pressure is good. the kitchen is ok. the utensils need to be upgraded/replaced as they’re kind of old cheap kmart items. I was disappointed that the kettle was really dirty and icecube tray was broken but these are easily fixed items. overall, i’d stay here again.

Service outstanding = 1 star Location Beach front = 1 star Kept my family warm and dry for two nights = 1 star We stayed in room 144, severe need of a renovation, crumbling walls, water damaged cabinets and doors, the location is what saves it, beach front and several pools its great for little kids and the service from front desk and even the people around the facilities was really great and welcoming. Definitely not a 5 star resort but definitely could be. It's a little bit out of Coffs buy about 8 mins so if you need to get food or anything you have to drive. Other than that it's ok.

We went here for five days and had an incredible time. The rooms were very nice and had everything we could possibly need. We had a beautiful view and many different activities provided to us buy the owners like tennis rackets and a variety of board games. They also provided us withe a large array of complimentary food which made it easier to make dinner on the day of arrival. The resort also is a minute walk away from a private beach, two pools, spa, gym and tennis courts. Overall it was a great time and I would highly recommend this place for future holidays

False Advertising in their brochures Our room was then closed off to other guests but we were still charged $550 per night!! Receptionist was amazing... and that's about it!! One of our kids had to be collected by her Dad from out of town as she became so sick - we were here for a sporting event. Never heard from the Property Manager on site, after we tried a couple of times. Here's the fun we had to deal with:

Shower screen in ensuite falls off when you open/close to get in/out of shower Black mold in ensuite – with an overpowering smell Main bathroom toilet wasn’t even bolted to the floor, to the point of when using it people rolling the toilet and leaning onto the shower screen beside it Water damage to main bathroom vanity, very old damaged Shower screen aged and dirty looking Wet smell through entire property, noticed as soon as we walked into the property, hence why it was all opened, windows, doors etc to try and mask the smell of damp. Dehumifider running at full tilt – so who needs to hear the ocean when you have that burring all night Black mold in kids bedroom, on the blinds Wet damp carpet in kids bedroom, so wet it squished when touched Broken fly screens – and no fly screens in all rooms Kids bedroom had chewing gum stuck to the bottom of the top bunk Kids bedroom sheets had holes in them, and dirt between the sheets, almost like the bed was just made from the last guest When looking for the TV remote we found ‘damp rid’ containers what seemed like to be hidden in the cupboard and out of sight Dirty plates in kitchen, stuck together with hair on them. Upon further inspection we discovered that most of the plates had not been washed and were just put back in the open cupboards No bath mats in either bathroom Kitchen walls were filthy as to was the kitchen vent above the stove – you could see build up of grease and stains on both vents and walls No wifi – at $550 per night please explain to us why we are then asked to pay A$10 per night for wifi Beachfront Gym – with a variety of exercise machines and weights (as stated in your brochure) …. Hmmmm no weights in sight, one treadmill, two ‘exercise bikes’ and a elliptical trainer Coffee Shop (as stated in your brochure)… NOPE – tried to get a morning coffee, sorry no coffee!!! On arrival our car park was in use, with another car also blocking the entrance and we seemed to have put people out by asking them to please move their cars so we could...

We booked the Beachhouse as it had an outdoor private spa and we were on a girls weekend and always book our accommodation with a private spa. Upon arrival we were advised that the spa was not working and we would be refunded the extra money we paid for the spa if they could not get it fixed. The Manager was unable to fix it so a tradesman came the next day and said he could not get it fixed during our stay. The Manager was extremely rude to us saying that it wasn't a problem as the resort's spa was the same as our private spa. There is no comparison. He also said that he thought the owners would not get the spa fixed as it's too old and too much trouble. Also, we advised on the first day that there was a water leak in the main bathroom with water on the floor and no-one came to look. I received an email saying they said would look at it after our departure. Upon entry each time to the house, there was a strong stench similar to cat pee. We went to see the Manager upon departure on Sunday and the office was closed, so we sent an email asking for compensation from the owner (units individually owned) for the spa not working and was advised that no compensation will be forthcoming. I was going to book again in September for another group of friends but we will definitely not be staying now. On a positive, the location is amazing being 50m from the beach and being able to see the waves from the verandah but the day bed is overgrown with bushes, it...

Pros: |just a walk to the beach| We LOVED the spa|The restaurant has great food.||Cons:|- the bathroom light was flickering on day 1. Eventually died a few hours later. We had to shower with the door open relying on the lights from the room. We didn't complain because we thought we'd manage. |- toiletries provided was just for 1 day. Bring your own is my advise. |- heating was non existent in the main bedroom. We had to open the door and have a bit of warmth from the heat pump located in the living room/kitchen|- they only provided 1 key for technically 2 apartments (adjoint). We unfortunately locked ourselves out. Rang the call centre number which took awhile to ring back. After hours person turned up after nearly 2 hrs. Note that this is in the middle of winter and though this was our fault, they could have provided a 2nd key or a key that's accessible from the reception 24/7. We got charged $55 extra for that. |- the pool was stone cold. Kids weren't able to use it. |- as with the other reviews this place needs an upgrade. For the price we paid, it's not worth it at all..||Decided to splurge on this holiday. My husband chose the place thinking the rooms are exactly as the pictures advertised. If I made the choice I would not have agreed to booking this. Unfortunately there's similar reviews. I don't think they bother. Definitely not...
