Let me start by saying the All day menu is very good. Was great to come down for happy hour and stay for a bite.We had Arancini, duck spring rolls and Bao buns all delicious. Next evening thought we'd treat ourselves and have dinner in the restaurant. Unfortunately not the same experience.😣 The bar and restaurant were clearly understaffed. In saying that the staff were pleasant and as attentive and efficient as they could be. Both our main meals were. Disappointing and given the cost not acceptable. My daughter's lamb shank while substantial was dry no sauce potato heavy. My Pork belly was was pretty much all fat, very thin layer of meat and combined with a very thick bitter sauce was frankly inedible. The highlight sweet potato mash😅 To her credit our wait person took that off our bill. With much apologising.

What an absolute disappointment! After waiting over 45 minutes for a simple calamari dish that never arrived, I ended up leaving the restaurant. No one even bothered to give an explanation for the delay. Instead, I was offered four free coffees for the next morning—as if that would make up for the complete lack of service.

It’s baffling how a restaurant at a supposedly reputable resort could be this disorganized. If you’re thinking of dining here, expect long waits, poor service, and no guarantee that your food will ever show up. Horizons Restaurant & Bar is a letdown from...

Whilst staying at the resort overnight we thought we would try the on-site restaurant for a quick meal.

The staff were friendly and helpful and we quickly chose and ordered our food. Whilst waiting we tried a couple of cocktails which were awesome especially the Nuts about Caramel.

Dinner arrived after a small wait and the portions were much bigger than we could manage but the staff provided us some containers so we could take the leftovers with us.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re staying at the resort and looking for something quick...
