I’d like to give it 4 stars but the non-functioning Wi-Fi for the total of 11 days I stayed made my life quite difficult. I can’t imagine what it would be like with teenagers pr kids who live through their phones.Although on holiday, Wi-Fi for phone and Computer is still needed for much daily living, entertainment and yes some business. Having to go to a cafe or sit outside where it is very cold was Far less than ideal and by the end had worn thin. I mentioned it to Reception several times but the attitude was there is nothing they could do, the technical team said there was nothing wrong (there obviously was) and that was that. I had to accept it and for what I paid, the advertised high-speed wifi it fell well below what was acceptable. For this reason alone I wouldn’t stay again although many positives.
Some of the many positives is the apartment is roomy and light, well-stocked with good heating/aircon and a stunning view of the beach that is located just across the road. It’s a Great location with many cafes, shops and restaurants close by (if you have a car). There’s a lot to do in Bunbury and of a very high calibre. The BSA’s view or the easy access to the beach just across the road is magic! As so is the pool or which is right out front w a direct access Courtyard. The staff are friendly and a smart TV was even supplied for my Netflix which was very appreciated. The cleaners did a good,solid job of keeping the apartment clean but there was a small hiccup with changing sheets. Staff are professional and polite but I didn’t feel that welcome or valued. The carpets are a cream colour covered in stains, the lamp shades are white, chipped and outdated there are greasy hand prints all over the bedroom doors, hair and dirt swept into corners and the towels are grey, food stuck on the kitchen doors and inside the cupboard where the bin stays is gross. Our booking said level 1 or 2 and we were put on level 3 and then told we should have requested 1or 2, why would we request something we were told in writing we were getting 🤔. The pool had clumps of hair gathering on the floor by 4pm which was really disgusting, 4 in total, the pool cleaning was put in around 8am the following morning but it should be done more often. The cleanliness is an issue. The photos were taken on checkout but don't enjoy staying somewhere we have to clean before getting comfortable. Full length mirrors in the bedrooms would be good, changing the carpet is a must and when confirming accommodation a pic of the actual room you are getting would be amazing, it's less misleading as most people decide on visual.    Read moreWrongfully asked my 82 year old father with a heart condition to leave one day earlier and illegally moved his belongings out of the room and left them on the floor. His room was fully payed until the next day. On the pretext that I expressed being annoyed on the phone zero apologies where given. He kindly accepted another room later on and no one offered to help carry his belongings for him. Reception is useless, unable to resolve any issues, you get a shoulder shrug, an eye roll and maybe a sorry that will not fix anything. If you complain hard enough, management will send you an arrogant email twisting things around explaining to you why everything is your fault. Other wise house keeping doesn’t turn up half of the time. This place used to be lovely but over time it has decayed significantly especially the facilities. Blocked sink, damaged fridge, faulty a/c, faulty toilet flush. If you arrive late reception will be closed. They are supposed to send you a code for the safety box which you will never receive even if you try multiple times to have the number verified prior to your arrival with a...
