The owners, Kat and Mel were very helpful and approachable from the start so we knew it would be perfect. The house, decor and surrounds were more than comfortable and so well appointed. This was our first family get together to celebrate anniversary and 70th birthday, so with varied age groups and interests we were slightly worried but the size of the house allowed everyone to have their own space for relaxing, socializing, outdoor walks, reading and the alpaccas for the children to see. The bonus library was a hit! and there were also adult DVDs for hire in reception. Little local boutique soaps were an added luxury. For us the weather was overcast and raining but this assisted in bonding time and luckily it did not pose a problem. The pride the owners take in their property only ensured that we took extra care with the children and lifted any breakables out of reach. Their were 2 ensuites, an extra bathroom and toilet and another shower and 2 toilets outside. Needless to say the outside facilites were the most used by all the male members!!! Everyone enjoyed the stay and we will definetly return for a winter retreat. Thank you so much! Highly...

We stayed for three nights in the very spacious, warm, cosy, and beautiful "Kingfisher" cottage nestled high up in the hinterland with great views of the magnificent scenery. The quiet rural location is conveniently positioned for the charms of Maleny and the other smaller villages 'up the hill'. The owners/hosts are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive and maintain a very high standard of hospitality with the room being exceptionally well appointed and impeccably clean. Their passion and care for the overall customer experience are obvious.|This is a magnificent choice of accommodation for those seeking self-sufficiency in a very peaceful location with an added charm and sophistication including the romantic spa bath with the gas fire and candles provided!|This is a first port of call on our next visit to stay in this...

The most perfect getaway. Margie, Pete and staff were an absolute delight and made us feel so incredibly welcome throughout our stay. We stayed in the Kingfisher cottage and it was truly magical. The location and views were breathtaking to wake up to every morning. The cottage was very clean and well looked after. Equipped with a full kitchen and plenty of cooking utensils, a new smart TV and even a new espresso coffee machine, we had everything we needed to enjoy three days of luxury and relaxation. The huge spa bath with a beautiful view of the hinterland was very much enjoyed. Cuddling up on the couch with an amazing view of the hinterland and the fireplace keeping us warm was truly magical. We will most definitely be back and recommending this to anyone looking for a secluded, quiet, affordable and romantic getaway to...

Beautiful location approximately 7 minutes from Maleny. We stayed in the Kingfisher cottage for 3 nights. The cottage is laid out nicely, modern, clean and private. Undercover parking is just steps away from your cottage. All utensils are provided in the fully equiped kitchen. The gas fireplace was easy to use, you can login to various streaming apps on the TV (be sure to logout prior to your departure) and the highlight of the room is the spa. Check in and out is easy. We were not disturbed during our stay. Steve was lovely, told us some of the history of the cottages and was kind enough to allow us the feed two alpacas that reside beside the cottage. An excellent stay and I highly recommend staying at Blue Summit Cottages.

Lovely view. %80 luxury. tv out dated . No blue tooth speakers. Spent the first night a wake to structural damage, called resepchon, at 2 am then 5 am no answer .Becaus it kept us up. There was other numbers but we were unaware of them. Only to have resection call me back at 7:30 am.say sorry as there own place was under stress. No real apology . The incisive breakfast for two days. Is not enuff for two day. Who eats one slice of beacon and hafe a sausage.? Cuple of things letting it down. But over all very nice. We have since been contated and properly apologise to. This has made up for the inconvenience. We would go back.

The Blue Summit Cottages are set in a stunning location overlooking a valley rolling hills, and much more. The owners provide a gorgeous space to relax in with thoughtful attention to detail, a wonderful spa and shower, great kitchen facilities and a super comfy bed. Evident in reading the information about the area provide a by the owners is a respectful and sincere acknowledgement of the history and importance of first nations Australians. Also evident is a strong focus on the environmental needs of the land, animals and planet. Commendations and appreciation! P.s. we named your resident maggie Bucks, what a tenacious bird!
