The owners, Kat and Mel were very helpful and approachable from the start so we knew it would be perfect. The house, decor and surrounds were more than comfortable and so well appointed. This was our first family get together to celebrate anniversary and 70th birthday, so with varied age groups and interests we were slightly worried but the size of the house allowed everyone to have their own space for relaxing, socializing, outdoor walks, reading and the alpaccas for the children to see. The bonus library was a hit! and there were also adult DVDs for hire in reception. Little local boutique soaps were an added luxury. For us the weather was overcast and raining but this assisted in bonding time and luckily it did not pose a problem. The pride the owners take in their property only ensured that we took extra care with the children and lifted any breakables out of reach. Their were 2 ensuites, an extra bathroom and toilet and another shower and 2 toilets outside. Needless to say the outside facilites were the most used by all the male members!!! Everyone enjoyed the stay and we will definetly return for a winter retreat. Thank you so much! Highly...

We stayed in the Kingfisher cottage and it was truly magical. The location and views were breathtaking to wake up to every morning. The cottage was very clean and well looked after. Equipped with a full kitchen and plenty of cooking utensils, a new smart TV and even a new espresso coffee machine, we had everything we needed to enjoy three days of luxury and relaxation. The huge spa bath with a beautiful view of the hinterland was very much enjoyed. Cuddling up on the couch with an amazing view of the hinterland and the fireplace keeping us warm was truly magical.
