As a local would really like this place to succeed, but after several visits by both ourselves and guests we have had staying with us, we definitely won’t be returning. The main issue is the service which is consistently painfully slow .. even when there a few other people there On a previous visit we waited 40 minutes for 2 coffees.first thing in the morning. Our last visit was practically farcical .. again a long wait for our order, wrong coffee order was placed by cashier, and despite an effort to resolve this, we still received the wrong barely lukewarm coffees ! The views are breathtaking, the staff and the service is delightful , and Sue makes the most delicious breakfast in the hinterland. Seriously, If you’ve not yet tried the Turmeric and pumpkin on sourdough served with both fresh and preserved lemon, and your daily requirement of fresh spinach, you don’t know what you’re missing. I take mine with a perfectly poached egg and crispy bacon, and end with a fabulous cuppa. Their sign should read, ‘if you want the best coffee and the best breakfast you’ve had in days, stop here’. The owners, Trev and Sue, go out of their way to make all their customers feel like welcome guests. The serving staff including Gemma and Cherise are warm and friendly. Coffee and food are excellent and the outlook from the deck is fabulous taking in far distance views. We are regular visitors for morning coffee as well as dinner.
