Alpha Hotel Eastern Creek — Hotel in Sydney

How do I give zero stars? I have stayed at this hotel when I travel to eastern creek many times a year for the last 3 years. When it was under chifley it was very good. I have stayed here 4 times in the last couple of months and they are consistent, consistently bad. General cleanliness of the hotel and rooms is good. Most of the evening hotel staff are rude and act like you are interrupting them when spoken to, the rotund gentleman working about 7pm you know who you are! The food is bad, ordered pizza one night and it was black and burnt yet they still happily brought it to my room and charged $28 for it. The second night was the worst chicken curry I have ever had, I am sure it is made with a jar of kan tong peanut satay which they leave in the sun for 8 hours before serving it (by the way mr chef, basmati and generic medium grain rice is different so change the menu or use the correct rice and read instructions on how to actually cook it yea?) Breakfast which I pay for is equally terrible, there is not even a bread grilling machine, you have to stand in line and wait to use a household toaster like a peasant. value for money is terrible for the price I paid of $230 per night. For this price I would expect maybe a chocolate mint on my pillow or wifi but no, this costs extra. One ply toilet paper, towels that smell like they have been washed in a bucket with the grease traps from the kitchen and hand towels that had stains on them that look like they are there because the previous guest didn't like the one ply toilet paper. I have spent $2000 here in the last six weeks alone. I will never stay here again and neither will anyone else from my company and if they do I am 70% sure they will die of food poisoning from something served out of the alpha hotel kitchen anyway. If you have read this far into my review you must be desperate for a place to stay...

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL First of all we got into our room and there was ants all through the fridge and tea/coffee station. We got moved to another identical room. This room had stained coffee cups, ripped quilt, dust everywhere, brown substance splattered up the wall. The fire alarm also went off at 7am the next morning due to someone showering with the bathroom door open. There are no signs saying not to?

Me and my mum went down to the grill for dinner. The seafood tasted absolutely disgusting, tasting like cinnamon, almost like they used a desert cream in the sauce. Halfway through my meal the air conditioner started dripping onto my head. The restaurant manager was informed and he said if we were still hungry to let him know which we definitely weren’t after that

We returned back to the room and we couldn’t bathe the 8 month old baby due to there not being a bath plug. I went to reception to get a plug but that plug did not fit. We ended up showering the baby

We were told netflix is disabled on the TVs due to it being to much of a hassle for them with sign in and out even though I have my own account? Cable TV also didn’t work as it was showing up a login message, reception unable to fix this issue

The rear entrance was absolutely disgusting. Rubbish, rat traps and what looked to be black mould. The stairwell genuinely smelt like a pet shop

We ended up checking out early, I had to ask for a refund as they weren’t going to offer any compensation, they ended up refunding dinner and $20 for the $200 room which I thought was rather pathetic

We are still waiting for our bond back and we checked out 20 days ago!!!! They are making no attempt to follow up on this and they told us we will have to dispute it with our bank which means canceling my card

Please do yourself a favour and no not stay at this...

Eww. Rooms dirty, smells of smoke, pillows on bed look like someone has had !@# on it all yellow and stained. Only 2 pillows had cases on them i left 2 for cleaners to send to clean and they just put cover over them and on bed. Loo has gunk build up under lid. Combined body and hair wash, no flannels, no loo brush. Dust...well I feel sick I have severe dust allergies and i wrote clean me in the dust, windowsills, lamps, skirting all yuck. Shower was uncleaned from previous person!!!!! Bed has drop because mattress is old, I dare look under sheets, I slept on top of bed thank the life of me I only have 2 more nights here. Room looks to brick wall...lovely view 🤬. Cars parked side of building to 1 side, and you go inside door from carpark, walked up stairs to 2nd floor to find doors locked, these are escape doors and wet day doors which walk up to hotel corridors. Partner had to go down stairs, all around building to reception, then up lift, down corridor to let me in. Will not recommend will not be back. 1...stairs up or walk around building and up hill to reception. No front parking. 2...filthy dirty

Cleaners need sack. We got same price for immaculate few weeks ago near by. If you like a clean room, most definitely don't come here. Room 115 is our current room. I am a cleaner of 39 years with my own business and I'm extremly disgusted with the laziness of these cleaners.

Location ok if you like cars as has motorsport park across road, hotel is in industrial area.

Cannot review staff or restaurant, rooms put me off enough without going any further...
