Bankstown Motel 10 — Hotel in Sydney

ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!! I would NEVER recommend anyone to this place. I paid for two rooms ( by mistake) I was told by Sammy,( staff member) that both rooms were unrefundable. I then said why was I refunded for one room but not the other?? The story then changed to "oh one room was refundable but One room wasn't! I was called a liar, yelled at and was told "oh well we all lose money at times, nothing she can do about it. BE CAREFUL as You are charged straight away for your booking and if you need to cancel they will NOT refund, so I have lost my whole payment and when I said well I will take the room back, I was told there are no rooms available for the dates I had (August 4th 2018), upon checking that date they have 6 rooms still available. Please people stay clear of this motel, Sammy is a very rude woman and she is all too keen to take your money, but not refund. I have never experienced such rudeness from anyone. Do yourself a FAVOUR and Stay somewhere you will be looked after and not just have money taken from you and your room rebooked to some else. Not bad taking $189 from my account and then taking another $189 from someone else's account for the Same room!! Great scam to...

The “Deluxe Queen Room” is far from deluxe. Definitely not soundproof. You can hear every door close, every time someone goes up or down the access steps. ||||The shower nearly scolded myself and my partner, it was very difficult to get to a comfortable temperature and once you did it didn’t stay that for long. The water pressure was lacklustre to say the least. The shower would dispel water at a below average pressure and then after about 5 seconds would begin to splutter and then become scolding hot. Then splutter again and return to your chosen temperature and continue to repeat that process for the whole shower. (Note that we did not use the basin tap at all while the shower was running).||||All in all, this is not a 4 star hotel. 2-3 at very best. ||||D I S S A P O I N T E D. D O B E T T E R ||||Also for those of you this is relevant to, this place is NOT wheelchair accessible WHATSOEVER. Even “ground level” isn’t without a flight of stairs. ||||||As I’m writing this someone just began to have a shower. I’m not a fan of this. The picture of this motel is old. It has had some amazing work done and is very modern and updated.

Room: We stayed over night with our 3 children in room 7 (basic kitchette). From the beginning the hosts were wonderful and very helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and very comfortable, welcoming and well stocked, it was very sound proof as we could not hear the traffic on the main road nor the other family of 5 right next to us. The beds were comfortable and we'll presented.

Breakfast: We got in late and in the morning we wanted to access the breakfast room. There was no hassles and the food was lovely. They have on offer cooked breakfast of a basic range which were; Eggs (which ever way you like them cooked) optional with bacon and tomatoes on toast. Baked beans/spagehtti on toasts. cereal and toasts.

Hosts/staff: The staff were lovely and warm we felt very well looked after. I would recommend this motel to any family staying in sydney.

We will definantly look to stay here again in the future. AAA+++++ hosts and motel for a great price.
