Reception Pleasant and courteous and offered great answers and directions to all our normal weary traveller questions. Clean and tidy, everything you would expect is there and laid out neatly. Aircon was on and Cabin did not smell but Standard Cabin is just that, a standard cabin with nothing to invite you back. If you just need somewhere to sleep for the night, OK, but the cabin layout is frustrating for the traveller. Nowhere to layout your bags so you have to unpack, but there is a whole room to sit and watch TV, which is about all there is to do at this location. A cloths cupboard or two would be great, and somewhere to hang a towel or two would also be useful. Huge kitchen area and loads of kitchen cupboards, really a lot of wasted area that kinda makes you want to not stay in this room. Now that I have been here next time I would go to Greens Beach which is a much cooler place, 20 minutes North. We stayed here because after a day of visiting Platypus House, Seahorse World and Beaconsfield Mine, it is close and easy to find. Free WiFi worked but only just and was very slow. Great Pub down the road (drive, DO NOT walk) and food / service was great. I've put my photos up to show you the standard Cabin, the web photos are clearly from angles to impress not provide clarity of the park.

We (couple) stayed 4 Dec 2024 for one night. It is a great location on the water. We went for a long walk along the water's edge. Saw a few Pademelons, quite tame, must be familiar with people (not dogs!). We heard a few Kookaburras evening and morning. The cabin was good - parked the car alongside. Activities included Seahorse World in the harbour (we enjoyed this venue). Platypus World in the harbour (we missed this as it closed early). Supper was at the Chef's Catch for fresh fish and chips. We had an enjoyable day and night. Then on to Devonport and ferry back to Vic and home. Thank you. Yes, This Park and Beauty Point is well recommended.

I am so pleased we came & stayed here. Beauty Point is a quaint little town nestled along the Tamar. It is close to a few other towns that are great to go & see. We were allocated a bigger powered site to accommodate our motorhome. It was perfect for our needs along with the well kept hedges between each site provided privacy. The amenities are quite dated but very clean. The receptionist was so easy to deal with. We were so close to the river. I have no hesitation in recommending this tourist park.

We were on our way back to Melbourne after spending over two lovely weeks holidaying in Tassie and were in need of a place to stay overnight with four children (4-12 yrs old). After reading some of the negative reviews online I must admit I was a little nervous ringing to enquire. Should I have overlooked them and found something else? I need not have worried. They were most pleasant to deal with and courteous.

When we arrived, it was during their lunch break and they were closed. Good idea! They need a lunch break as much as we do! So we toddled off, had some lunch and explored the lovely little township of Beauty Point. What's an hour here or there when you're on holidays...and holidays in Tasmania?!

When we checked in the service was typically Tasmanian: friendly, warm and personal. My wife and I were puzzled the park is only three and a half stars. Probably because they don't have pools and bouncing mats, etc. for the kids. But hey, our kids were more interested in catching crabs and swimming in the river. These were extras you can't order or install or even put into stars on brochures! Those three and a half start should be golden. The place was clean, neat, and obviously well looked after.

This possie was certainly a small little gem perfect for a few days of doing...well...nothing! That's what I love...

Booked a room on the morning of 2/8/25. Arrived to check-in only to be told there was no booking, they didn't know who the booking agency was and that I had been scammed. Showed a payment out of my account to the booking agency and they continued to maintain they didn't know anything about it and if I wanted to stay that night I'd have to pay again. Paid again and all of a sudden my booking showed up but not for the 2/8/25 instead for the 8/8/25. No refunds/no change of booking absolutely zero understanding from this accomodation. Booking agency contacted them endlessly asking for a refund due to booking error and this accomodation continued to refuse to refund. Adding more salt to the wound they continued to send correspondance to my email congratulating me on my booking even when they knew I was no longer even in the state and advised them on the 2/8/25 I wouldn't be. They kept the booking in order to justify taking...
