Swamp Hen Reserve — Hotel in Walker Flat

Primarily a boat ramp parking area that doubles as a free camping area. One toilet only which is usually clean enough. Two covered tables and one old electric BBQ. Very crowded on long weekends and school holidays with caravans, tents and motorhomes, often with jet-skis or ski boats. Rubish bins are emptied infrequently but BBQ and toilet cleaned most days. Floaring pontoon next to boat ramp is under repair and currently not accessible. The nearest general store & petrol outlet appears to have closed...

Great free place for caravans RVs. Toilet flush and sink. Further up road general store few hundred meters away with more public toilets fuel supplies and licensed store. No OPTUS coverage unless you go across river up hill to forster lookout etc. Telstra coverage 2bar to 3bar fluctuations. Non drinkable untreated tap at public toilets near general store and ferry crossing but no porable water tap at this location, however tap sink in toilet might be possible? Still untreated water.
