Hettner Landing — Local services in Walker Flat

We stayed here for 1 night camping for free. It was gorgeous! Kids loved the makeshift rope swings that were there. The starry night sky looked beautiful and the birds were a treat, although our youngest son had his sausage stolen by a kookaburra LOL Only downside was the toilet wasn’t clean and quite smelly but there is a toilet block 2 mins from campsite near the Walker Flat Corner Store - they have supplies and we had a nice hot breakfast and coffee!! A great little spot, though some steep access to the river depending on the site. Local, well kept, flush toilet and hand basin with hand soap available. All sites are hard packed ground, no grassy areas where camping is allowed. Most sites have a park table and chairs. Nice and clean with bins available. Free access and camping.
