Villa Elisabeth — Hotel in Admont

We spent 3 nights in June 2021 at this horrible place. We got an apartment in the basement. Though it's sunny outside the room was very cold. At first, the host lady was very friendly but after we told her our room was freezing she became irritated and annoyed. She told us to open the window to let the breeze in so the room gets warmer from the heat outside. We did that but it was still freezing. At check out, we told her should check the heater. She was suddenly pissed and told us that because my wife is Asian and the Philippines don't like to open the window that's why the room was cold! I told her my wife is not even from the Philippines and that's definitely not the reason for the cold room! The lady was very racist and ignorant. She didn't apologize for the comment and neither for the room. Not recommended unless you like freezing place...

We have booked our room for two nights just before New Years. Unfortunately, on the first night we were late on arrival (for about an hour). There was no call from the property, just email, that we were late and we are not allowed to stay at the property. At the premises were just a cleaning lady, who did not speak english and informed us, that the boss has already left and we had to stay at different location. During communication with booking.com we were assured, that we could stay the other paid night. The scenario was pretty much same as previous night. There was just hausmeister speaking just german. He informed us that there is no reservation on my name. He showed us to room with private sign on the door, telling us, we will pay in the morning. Anna Maria pays great attention to detail. The whimsical decoration accentuates the owner's love of her style. The Villa is clean and beautiful, the gardens manicured. We were invited to use the pool, although it was a little cold for us...|Anna Maria showed us the room we booked (sleeps 3/4), which was beautiful, but the 2 single beds were not quite standard size, so a little short for my teenagers. Instead she "upgraded" us to her 1 bedroom apartment, which had direct access to the pool and garden. |Breakfast was plentiful and again Anna Maria tried everything to make her guests happy and comfortable. |Payment needs to be cash and she is keen to book direct, as it's cheaper. |Great place if you need a bit of TLC...|I would go back any time if I were...
