Privatzimmer Bundschuh — Hotel in Amlach

We booked a room via Booking.com that sent us a confirmation. After one day the hotelowner sent us a mail in which we were told without any reason she had no room available. Without any compensation she forced us to cancel our reservation which was confirmed by Booking.com. We asked her to give us at least the reason and then suddenly she wrote us that her mother had died for three days. However, we found out that the cancellation had nothing to do with her given reason because she kept on offering rooms afterwards and Booking.com gave us another reason. Privatzimmer Bundschuh is one of those hotels that are looking for more guests via Booking.com but that don't want to pay Booking.com commission (when other individual clients ask for rooms without using Booking.com and want to spend more days). On the day we wanted to spend a night we passed by the hotel and saw it was not closed. We spoke with guests that booked after us. Privatzimmer Bundschuh is not to be trusted! Was here for one night, room was comfortable and good size for two persons. We also had a terrace. Room was really clean and warm, considering that outside was rainy and that Lienzer Dolomiten are almost at the door step. The host was friendly. Parking spaces for motorcycle were good, they have a small garage at place where 2 motorcycles can park. Amlach is just couple of minutes away from Lienz and on the route to Grossglockner. Breakfast was a real refreshment and tasty, i enjoyed austrian breakfast but the most i liked is the peace and quiet of the cute village of Amlach. Thanks to our host for kind hospitality...

До чего же непростая оказалась дорога... Выехали из Баварского Динкельсбюля и тут же наткнулись на закрытую основную дорогу - свернули, поехали через Ульм. Потом, когда уже въехали в Альпы и навигатор выбрал кратчайшую дорогу - она, по какой-то причине оказалась закрытой: вернулись и поехали через Инсбрук. И уже на полпути к цели возникла пробка: в горах, на мосту через какую-то речушку случилась авария с какой-то дальнобойной фурой, которая перекрыла дорогу... Поэтому до отеля добрались чуть позже запланированного и слегка "запсихованные". Навигатор вывел по адресу идеально: пригород Лиенца, в котором мы уже бывали - тихая деревенька; типичный австрийский дом, на завалинке которого сидела небольшая разновозрастная компания... Ну и всё! дальше всё просто замечательно: отличная комната, отличная кровать, отличный WiFi, роскошные виды из окон и с балкона, утром отличный завтрак, но главное - милая, обаятельная, улыбчивая, предупредительнейшая хозяйка ( которая, кстати, и посоветовала нам прекрасный ресторан для ужина). Маленькая деталь: оплата только кэшем, но это отмечено при бронировании в booking.com. Цена ночёвки вполне щадящая для такого уровня сервиса € 69.- Ну и пешком до центра Лиенца 15 - 20 минут не торопясь (пара километров). ||Отличное место. Отличный отель....
