Bergresort Zugspitze Ehrwald by ALPS RESORTS — Hotel in Ehrwald

We stayed in apartment 6 and it was absolutely perfect. We travelled as a group of 8, ages 9 - 65 and all enjoyed thoroughly. The apartment itself was beautifully designed, very modern, comfortable and clean. ||Traditionally, I find swimming pools can be harsh on skin, eyes and hair but the outdoor pool here was quite the opposite, the water was nicely heated and noticeably soft so we would have bathed all day despite it only being April. ||We ate breakfast every morning and had one evening meal in the restaurant- it was simply delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We ordered pizza to our room another night which was so relaxing and also delicious. The service was outstanding. ||The views were absolutely breathtaking, the snow capped mountains surrounded us everywhere we travelled and the ringing of church bells regularly was so soothing. ||There were plenty of excursions locally and skiing would have been still available had we wished to go but as we had two members of our party injured, we couldn't avail. ||We had our own car and parking was very safe and secure in a locked underground car park that only our room key could open, this was great peace of mind. Everywhere in the resort could only be opened by room key which is very reassuring. ||There were excellent laundry facilities, we could access with room key and it was free to use - both washer and dryer. We had our own detergent. ||I loved fresh fruit available at reception when we visited also. ||We will certainly be looking into a return visit. It was an extremely relaxing (but busy) trip in the most beautiful county. ||I would HIGHLY recommend this...

Stayed with our friends in an apartment with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. Had balconies on both sides of the apartment. The most beautiful hotel ever. Views are stunning, the interior is amazing. It's very moody and a lot of wood details. Smells like wood when you come inside too. Woke up every day with a view to mountains. Can it get any better?

Underground parking. And laundry machines in the basement that work on coins. Breakfast was really good, and included. No sugar, water, tea or coffee in the room. But there is a pod coffee machine and dishwasher. They also provided small cleaning kit with dish washer tablets, some cloths, a sponge and things like that.

Spa was included as well. An outdoor pool, with warm water and bubbles on one side. Outdoor sauna and 3 more saunas inside - natural sauna, steam sauna and infrared sauna. Orange and lemon water, and tea available in spa area.

Staff very nice. We were there in off-season, was very quiet, we felt like the only ones there.

Super dissapointing& unreliable. We had booked the penthouse & even paid, but after 4 weeks (!!!) our booking got cancelled because of an “overbooking”. A couple hours later the same penthouse was offered on booking.com for 3-times the price we had paid. No apology, let alone acceptable resolution or alternative was offered to us even though we had made al sorts of arrangements for our stay in Ehrwald (booked skilessons, skipasses & equipment). According to the accommodation they are allowed to cancel weeks after the booking and payment is confirmed. This mindset & attitude confirms that they are unreliable and are not customer oriented. I have traveled a lot and booked a lot of accommodations but never have I experienced an accommodation that presents itself as topservice but in fact lacks every service and reliability.
