Best meal of my stay in Tirol!
The older waiter who showed us a table had an atrocious manner, we nearly decided to just drop the place and go somewhere else. Luckily, we decided to stay... I ordered a rare black angus rumpsteak and oh boy, was it good... Perfect texture, butterlike consistency. Everything on my plate was a wonder. I even tasted my mother's meal which was pork with kräuterbutter and it was one of the most well-made pork meal I've ever tasted. All in all, the prices are the regular or only 5% more, and it is worth it, I ate much worse meal in this town at the same price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone coming nearby, and I hope the chef cooks always this good! :) Also, the other waiters were okay, only the one dealing with the reservations and such should be dismissed. The waiter was wonderful, so helpful and warm. He recommended the right foods and chatted with us about our trip and our lives. We ordered appetizers which were divine and beer which was angelic. Then came the main meal! We ordered käsespatzel and the pork medallions in a mushroom cream sauce. The mushroom cream sauce was the best we have EVER had in our lives. We will dream of that food for years to come. We decided to try the creme bruleé for dessert and were treated to the finest creme brulee we could imagine. The restaurant runs 3 shifts: 17.00 - 18.30/ 18.30 - 21.00/ after 21.00. They are constantly on the phone taking new reservations. Even when serving at your table. Wine is poured with no contact, because taking new reservations. After 3 of these awkward moments we clearly reached the end of our shift and asked for the bill. This, ofcourse was done on the phone. When I paid, they didn't even bother to say goodbye or thank you - because on the phone.
