Stäfeli, Hotel-Garni — Hotel in Gemeinde Lech

I have just spent a marvellous week at the 4* Staefeli in Zug. The hotel is small and family-run on a truly environmentally sustainable and ethical basis. The focus is on a kind, thoughtful and personal service, while maintaining high standards in a modern ambience. The owners are present, approachable and active in all departments.||The Zugerbergbahn lift is a quick ski away and the Lech centre is reached in five minutes by a bus that runs every twenty minutes throughout the day. I ate in s’Achtele twice - once a la carte and the other time I had the chinese fondue, both were excellent. Every table in the restaurant was taken. The vibe was buzzy and intimate, relaxed yet very civilised - the best I experienced having eaten out in Lech / Zug on the five other occasions of my stay.||Of particular mention is that the food is all sourced locally, tastes really good and above all is healthy. The breakfast apple / carrot / celery juice you can make yourself in the juicer is a real treat and so delicious.||There are lots of quiet public spaces scattered around to which one can retreat to relax or read, have a drink or enjoy the afternoon Jause (tea). There is an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and basic gym.||The hotel is for those looking for somewhere special, high standards with a soul, where one can relax and is cared for in a heart-felt fashion and which is unapologetically run a little bit differently - the only “changemaker” hotel...

Absolvovali sme pobyt v hoteli Stäfeli, Lech, Rakúsko, počas vianočných sviatkov.

Tento pobyt bol jedným z najhorších našich pobytov a doposiaľ sme sa nestretli s tak nekvalitným hotelom, ako aj službami, ktoré tento hotel poskytuje.

Pokiaľ sa jedná o služby, na izbách bola zima, upratovanie bolo nedostatočné počas celého týždňa nebolo vymenené posteľné prádlo, ani uteráky.

Poskytnutá strava nezodpovedala prezentovanej úrovni hotela. Raňajky boli poskytované formou švédskych stolov, avšak je nehygienické, ak si hostia majú sami pripravovať na dvoch či troch panviciach praženicu. Na jednotlivých tanierikoch boli poskladané nedostatočné množstvá údenín či mäkkých výrobkov a kto prišiel trošku neskôr taniere boli prázdne. Nehovoriac ovocí, zelenine či iných doplnkov, ktoré sú súčasťou raňajok než v iných hoteloch nižšej kategórie. Je absolútne neprípustné, aby večere boli poskytované v preplnenej reštaurácii zodpovedajúcej 4 cenovej skupiny, pričom kvalita poskytnutej večery vzbudzuje pochybnosti o kvalite a čerstvosti. Hotel večeru riešil tak, že domáci pán navaril halušky, ktoré boli poskytnuté každému bez možnosti výberu a tým bola večera skončená. Štedrá večera nemala úroveň, pozostávala zo surového mäsa, tzv. fondue, bez možnosti výberu štedrovečerského menu, v dôsledku čoho sa v hotely rozšírila gastroenteritída. Bolo zrejmé, že viacerý hostia ochoreli, čo však hotel sa snažil zakryť.

Po týchto skúsenostiach je treba uviesť, že štandard hotelu nezodpovedá cenovej ponuke a v žiadnom prípade neodporúčame navštevovať tento hotel. Cenovo je tento hotel na úrovni vyššej kvality a špičky, čo mu to však nezodpovedá. Úsmevy majiteľov, nedokonalé služby nemôžu nahradiť. Tomuto hotelu by som nepriradila žiadnu hviezdičku, skôr varovanie pred sklamaním z poskytnutých služieb a...

The property is family run and has a very nice atmosphere. The owners and staff are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean, bright and nicely decorated. Ours also had a great view. ||||We love the location in rather quiet Zug with good access for lots of hiking trails. One just shouldn't mind to smell the cows when outside.||||Breakfast quality was outstanding! Restaurant in the same building is great for diner but should book on summer weekends and probably all winter season.||||Fantastic stay in a lovely...
