We chose this place basically just because we needed a bad on our trip thru Austria, we expected nothing extra. But we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice, helpful and great to talk to. Breakfast was just something else. The amuse bouche one-bite platters actually gave us some hard time as we were not the only ones at the hotel and we struggled hard so as not to wipe it ouy completely. Dinner menu was short but very, very good, for very fair prices. On top of that, every meal came with an herb flower (you shoud see the herb garden, I do confess, I stole a leaf of this and that a few times). We enjoyed our short walks to restaurants in the evenings and in our opinion, Gasthof Polerus was the best place to eat.||Free WIFI worked fine & the Fritz Card gave us discount on lift passes & ski-hire.||I rate Onkel Fritz as ‘Excellent ‘ for the 3* hotel that it is....

Peter & Sabine on the desk and Edith in the kitchen. ||Reading the reviews on the breakfasts helped me book this and lived up to its expectations(Amazing) but do not miss out on an optional evening meal as excellent food.||Loved the owners comment "Well this is also our home and we want you to enjoy it as much"||Our room was en-suite, clean, comfortable with a great view and our own private sauna which was appreciated after a day skiing.||Short walking distance 5-10 mins to the ski hire shop and Gondola with discount cards from Fritz.||The Bar is such a relaxing way to end the day but take a good look around at the artifacts from over the years. ||You really must stay at the Das Onkel Fritz as you will not be disappointed and thank you again Peter and Edith. ...
