We were there 2 times. First time was great, the food was great also and the waiter was very nice. Second time there was a waitress she was totally incorrect and very rude! It was three of us, we ordered two main dishes and one “ungarische goulasch” and I asked if its big, she said no! Then a bit later before she brought out the goulash I asked for another main menu as she said the goulasch is very small. Then 2 minutes later she brought out the goulasch, which is not a soup and was quite big and two main dishes, so i said to her i dont want the third main dish. She said okay no problem. Then she comes back 15!!! Minutes later bringing the third main dish, i tell her i said before i dont want that, she is telling me she couldnt withdraw the third main dish…. There was 2 minutes in between i ordered it and i then i said actually no. She forgot to cancel the dish so she beought out. I told her i said i dont want it. She said she cant do anything. I said to bring it back and wait and give it to aomeone who orders it. Then she comes back 5 minutes later telling she couldnt do it so she packaged it for us.. we told her we cant eat, she said to being it home. We told her we cant we stay in a hotel and have no fridge…. Completely incorrect...

Read moreThe food here is consistantly excellent. The menu is all in Styrian so we had a bit of trouble translating to begin with. So glad we perservered. It is an Austrian home style cusine, cozy and casual.
The pork fillet medallions with spatzle and tiny onions (which we leave to the side) is incredibly delicious and very very tasty. Sometimes my husband asks for the same meal but with veal medallions because of personal preference. If it is not too busy, my mother and I sometimes ask for a meal that is not on the menu but they are always obliging to make it for us. It is weiner schnitzel, baby carrots, green beans, potato rosti hasbrowns and a side of brown Jager gravy (usually has bacon and mushroom). It is just to die for. The hashbrowns are slim rounded patties that have finely chopped herbs in them. Even if you order a different dish please order a side of them. Apparently the pepper steak is very good too but I have not tried it, so cannot confirm. The best server is Lisa, she is a lovely waiter with the...
