I stayed solo at this hotel, to ski with friends staying elsewhere in Warth. The loaction of this hotel is what sets it apart. A 30-50 meter walk to the ski lift each morning, and the same to get back at the end of the day. The hotel is well presented, very clean and welcoming staff. The food each day was a highlight, from a wide range of breakfast menu, through to the multiple courses each night. Some staff made an effort to remember your name, others not so much. The single room was quite large with plenty of storage space, with a window overlooking a balcony, but no access to balcony. This hotel is very suited to families and the ski slopes at Warth offer a wide range of ski-ing for all abilities. At dining time, you are allocated a table for the whole week across two rooms. The staff could do better arranging like minded travelers to encourage conversation. If you are looking for a family hotel this is it, if you are looking for a party hotel--- head to St Anton. |I will be back,...
Read moreWe have just returned after a wonderful stay at this hotel, the food and hospitality were first class. The rooms were lovely and the staff were flexible in moving our daughter to a room closer to to the rest of the family. The five course dinner was varied and interesting, always with the option of a pizza from their pizzeria. Towards the end of the stay the service slowed down a bit and so we ended up eating later than we'd have liked.|There was a spa and wellness area with various types of sauna rooms. We were actually in the Wellness Suite so we had our own sauna which was a...
Read moreQuaint medium sized boutique hotel, 2 min from skiing. We booked the romantic suite with bath, and room was bigger than expected. We also had fantastic views.||The half board included fantastic dinner and breakfast with great service. Food options are limited, but with the buffet and 5 courses there was always plenty to eat.||Across the street is the dorfbahn with quick access to the slopes. Warth is a more advanced ski area, but you can bus to/from jarlsberg.||The spa area is extensive with clothing optional as is normal in this region. The massages were also very good.||Overall a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area. ||Note that about 60% off the staff speak English, and menus are in English and German, although some of the translations are a little rough. We did find the rest of the area to be less multilingual...
