We stayed at this hotel early July 2025, visiting from Canada, and despite the unseasonable chilly weather, we had a fantastic stay, primarily because of this wonderful hotel. From arrival to departure, everything was simply perfect. Our welcome was very organized even though we arrived quite late in the evening. The next morning, our liftpasses were ready to go and the hotel owner/host Christian provided lots of information on the best hikes in the area. The room was cozy, spacious and superclean. The bedlinens were top notch and our room was kept sparkling throughout our weeklong stay. It was nice too that there was an elevator, especially after a long day of hiking. One evening we booked the spa space on the lower level of the hotel and that too was a lovely, relaxing experience prepped for us with candles, fresh water and crisp clean towels. The sauna was superhot which was great. Breakfast in this hotel was also something to look forward too every morning. Freshly ground coffee from one of those industrial Jura machines, fresh cold cuts, yoghurt, a variety of cereals, bread, fruit and delicious preserves. One deatil that really showcases the fabulous customer service was that my partner asked for a super hard boiled egg and from then on, every morning on the super hard boiled eggs were sharpie marked with an 'H' by the owner. Great personal touch. We would stay in this hotel in a heartbeat again eand would...
Read moreI stayed a few days in the Alpenherz hotel. Overall, our experience was excellent. ||||The hotel and room looked new, clean and well taken care of. Also, the hotel has an lift, making it easy accessible for less mobile individuals. Our room was spacious and included one of the best (hotel) showers I have ever used. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good with plenty of choise. In terms of location, the hotel is located at one of the edges of Gerlos. The brand new ski lift is nearby in walking distance (max 10 minute), as well as the various restaurants and bars. Although the hotel has a ski room, I recommend to store the skis and shoes in the locker room of the ski lift; it is not expensive and saves the hurdle of walking with ski shoes and skis to the hotel.||||There are actually no downsides I can think of at the moment. If I have to say something, I think that some guest might not enjoy the sound of the stream nearby, as we could hear the sound of the water...

Actually it's very clean through out the whole hotel. The room we stayed in was spacious and looked clean & fresh. The owner is very nice and friendly. Breakfast was lovely, hot and cold portions and plenty. Lovely sunny breakfast room. There're many hiking routes around which suit difference requirements and energy levels. It'd be a great hotel to stay for ski too because the...
