Hotel Kristall — Hotel in Großarl

We had a wonderful time in hotel Kristall and would like to say a big thank you to all involved!|The reception staff welcomed us upon arrival and within minutes we were in our rooms (115&116).|The rooms were spotless clean, bright, comfortable and spacious.|The beds were very comfortable, the wardrobe was lit from the inside with a sensor driven LED light and the bathroom was spacious and very clean.|There was also a very decent size balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the breathtaking view of the mountain.|The underground car park was very convenient, keeping the car cool in the hot weather and with easy access to the room using the lift.|We also availed of the games room downstairs where we played table tennis.|The restaurant offers a good set menu for those with half board included with 3 different choices, something for everyone's taste!|We were assigned our table on the first night and it stayed reserved until our departure which was very convenient.|The food was delicious(big thanks to the chef!!) and the breakfast buffet was extremely rich and varied.|We also enjoyed the attention we got from all the restaurant staff who couldn't do enough to please us. Thank you!!|A final word about the hotel location. It has a magnificent view and could be easily reached by car.|The hotel hosts were very polite and helpful and offered us many tips on how to spend our vacation visiting places or simply hiking around(it was worth buying the Salzburgland card).|We also enjoyed the themed afternoons with cakes or wine.|We felt pampered spending our most precious time of the year at hotel Kristall Grossarl and would do our best to return in the future!|Thank you...

Me and my family(2 adults and 2 kids 6 and 7) spent our summer holiday in this hotel, for 2 nights. We were supposed to stay only one night but after being so impressed about high quality services we decided to book one night more. Evenmore we have decided for the winter ski holiday and book a one week holiday for January 2019. ||Nice size room ,exceeded our expectations. It was a large room with a separate area for children. ||||Staff very attentive in all area's offering lots of advice on arrival, service is excellent.||The location of the hotel is only 2 minutes walk from the ski slopes, hiking area which offers multiple hiking routes, so it's perfect for finding a good place to find your hiking or walking route.||When leaving the hotel our guest offered 2 take away gifts: medals for hiking, soap kids, shower and many sweets. You can imagine how happy the kids were.||||Breakfast is open buffet, lots of choice. Dinner is amazing, having a 4 course meal. Is combined with open buffet for the appetizer, salads and then 3 course a la carte menu. Amazing, very tasty food.||||Last but not least the owners are very nice, being there to help and advice you. It was our son's birthday and they made a surprize with a party decorated table and a chocolate cake. Thank you very much again.||||Nevertheless, this is sparkly clean hotel and can not find anything to say we didn't like. Spacious rooms scrupulously clean,but needs updating. This hotel is great for families, but not much to do for couples. No evening bar, so you have to go out really. Pool and wellness centre is lovely,especially after a day's skiing. Kettle provided in room but no teabags or coffee so take your own. Wi fi poor. Appalled to be charged 1 euro for a jug of water at main meal. Most of clientele appears to be German families who drive there .||Staff ok but not over freindly or informative, although our waitress was great. Food ok , buffet of local produce really good. Town small but nice. Tourist office very helpful. Made welcome in shops and bars. Went to folk night at sportsalm, really good. Skiing is good for nervous skiers like me.
