JUFA Hotel Donnersbachwald — Hotel in Irdning-Donnersbachtal

Great option for spending a night or two while on a family trip. We stopped here in our way to south Europe and were completely satisfied with what we got.

We were staying in the room 102, which is two levels room suitable for 5 people. The room was clean, comfortable and had the basic things you need. The breakfast is included in the room’s price is good, and each room gets its dedicated table reserved for the guests. Pretty standard offer of cold and hot dishes, juices, coffee, tea, jogurts. Nothing is missing.

The hotel cares about families with kids, starting from the playgrounds available on site, set of dishes and cutlery, even bunnies and Guinea pigs are living on site

Me and my family really enjoyed our 4night summer vacay in JUFA Donnersbachwald. Thanks to the friendly staff we felt like at home. We had half board and gallery room type. The food was tasty (however the offer of breakfasts was rather monotonous, among other I would appreciated a variety of cheeses as I experienced in other JUFAs in the past), room clean and spacious, I really apprecated the sauna. All of that surrounded by nature. Keep in mind that Donnersbachwald is approx. 1hour driving from Schladming, if you plan to do trips around. Cool facility for kids as well. We stayed for one night - initially booked through Booking.com, but later found a better deal with a discount on the official website. Everything was great: super friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms. For both dinner and breakfast, there was a wide range of options - from vegetarian dishes to the exact opposite. But the real highlight is the stunning nature all around: peaceful, quiet, and the freshest air imaginable. It’s a family-run hotel, and you can feel it - warm, relaxed, and welcoming.
