The worst hotel I have stayed in Europe and in my life There is an old man who does not respect people, raises his voice, is very rude to guests and tourists, and is racist. We returned to Baranekhof in Kaprun for our second stay, and once again, we absolutely loved it. Pension.. I was there looking after a team that was training on the glacier. The team was staying in town, and somehow hadn't gotten q me a room, that was weird. I found this out at the very last minute and found Baránekhof on Google maps, like this. Owner was a good guy, gave me a good price. Room was nice, spotless, and absolutely silent, great place to sleep. Breakfast was wonderful, some of the best eggs I've ever had. There is a good exercise facility, sauna, table tennis. Lunch and dinner someplace else. There is a bar, and I never patronized it so I can't tell you about that. Staff uniformly friendly. I think in addition to English and German they all speak Czech. If you want to be close to the glacier, to avoid the big lines in the morning, this is a good place to stay. Pay by wire transfer, this is a little bit of a chore for North Americans since...
