The worst hotel I have stayed in Europe and in my life There is an old man who does not respect people, raises his voice, is very rude to guests and tourists, and is racist. He took incorrect photos and accused me of mismanaging the hotel and lied about it I discovered that he entered my room and searched for my personal belongings while I was away I asked him to clean the room, and he said sarcastically: “This is not a five-star hotel,” and he refused to clean it even though I stayed with them for three days. Then he started talking to me loudly and shouting in front of the guests in the common breakfast area And without right He asked Belzami to pay 30 euros for the violations, according to his claim, which is not true I paid the amount because I do not want problems and I am coming for tourism and pleasure and I do not want to waste my time and my enjoyable tourist program.
In fact, it's not worth visiting or staying. I warn everyone not to go to this bad hotel I don't know why some of the hotel staff behave so badly, especially...
Read moreWe returned to Baranekhof in Kaprun for our second stay, and once again, we absolutely loved it. This charming, family-owned guesthouse has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you feel at home the moment you arrive. Everything is done with care and attention – from the spotlessly clean rooms to the traditional interiors that give the place an authentic, cozy Alpine feel. The staff are absolutely lovely: friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile or great local advice. The location is perfect – peaceful and scenic, yet just a short distance from all the activities and attractions that Kaprun and the surrounding region have to offer. Whether you're into hiking, skiing, sightseeing, or simply relaxing, it's all within easy reach. Breakfast is another highlight – delicious, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. It's the perfect start to each day. Baranekhof has become one of those rare places we already know we’ll keep coming back...

I found this out at the very last minute and found Baránekhof on Google maps, like this. Owner was a good guy, gave me a good price. Room was nice, spotless, and absolutely silent, great place to sleep. Breakfast was wonderful, some of the best eggs I've ever had. There is a good exercise facility, sauna, table tennis. Lunch and dinner someplace else. There is a bar, and I never patronized it so I can't tell you about that. Staff uniformly friendly. I think in addition to English and German they all speak Czech. If you want to be close to the glacier, to avoid the big lines in the morning, this is a good place to stay. Pay by wire transfer, this is a little bit of a chore for North Americans since...
