I was very very disappointed with this facility. The place is dirty and oily, with showers covered in mildew and poor ventilation, creating a stuffy and unpleasant atmosphere. There is no air conditioning, and if you ask for it, they won’t tell you they don’t have any instead, they claim the weak, dusty fan they provide is their version of air-conditioning. Even after the rooms are 'cleaned' once a week, they still don’t feel clean you can often find hair from previous guests. The walls are filthy, and the entire space feels eerie, especially at night, like something out of a horror movie. The bed is uncomfortable, and to make matters worse, they only change the sheets once a week. If you ask for more frequent changes, they refuse, citing it as their policy.
if you go there better not to remove the pillow cover or the bed cover or you won’t sleep all the night from what you will see … I’m just surprised how place like this with this kind of amount per night and they cannot even change their pillows and they keep it dirty like that. It looks like it’s coming from the rubbish … Maybe the rubbish is more better.
On weekends, they have no qualms about waking you up at 8:30 AM to clean the room. They started knocking on my door early in the morning, and when I didn’t answer because I was still asleep, they began trying to open the door with a key. Thankfully, my own key was in the back of the door , which prevented them from entering while I was still inside the room. It’s unreasonable to expect guests to be up and ready for cleaning at 8:30 AM on a weekend. If you don’t vacate the room, it won’t be cleaned for the next few days. The cleaning staff told me directly that if I didn’t vacate the room, it wouldn’t be cleaned because they were leaving after just 20 minutes. It’s frustrating how they place the responsibility for their cleaning issues on the guests, making you feel accountable for problems that should be managed by the facility.
Even when I ensured the room was empty so it could be cleaned, I found that very little had been done. The floor was still dirty and not touched and the shower remained unclean, despite my efforts to keep things orderly. The only noticeable change was a slightly adjusted but of course, without changing sheets because they do it only once per week!
The owner, a woman, is unwelcoming and shows no interest in who you are or what you need. Her only concern seems to be getting your money, with no effort made to make guests feel comfortable or happy with their stay. It feels like you’re staying there as a favor, but in reality, you’re paying for poor service.
Unfortunately, I had already made my reservation and couldn’t cancel, which is the only reason I stayed despite the terrible conditions. I’m sure they won’t be pleased with this review, but someone needed to speak the truth. Perhaps this is their standard of cleanliness and what they consider acceptable, but for most guests, this level of hygiene and service is unacceptable. If you request any changes, they might even find ways to justify their policies. I hope this review serves as a warning for others and prompts them to improve their standards. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a clean and...
Read moreWe stayed here for three nights with friends during our holiday in Austria. Our room was large with an ensuite and was cleaned daily. Breakfast was first class and Anita prepared a nice selection of breads, meats, cheeses, fruit, cereals, tea and coffee to help us kickstart the day. ||||The great thing about this property is that it has a large communal kitchen, which we used on two occasions to prepare a light evening meal. The property is also within easy walking distance of two supermarkets and a small shopping centre. There are several pubs and restaurants nearby overlooking the Danube. ||||Anita and her family made us feel at home. It’s a great place for a stopover when travelling...

Originally a barn, The hotel is now beautifully converted into a number of decent sized rooms, a large kitchen & dining area & downstairs is a large common/bar room with drinks for sale in the fringe, board games & a court yard with outdoor tables. There is also a bike rack for the many cyclists. The whole place is beautiful & has a really nice atmosphere. Anita was a very warm & welcoming host.
