Privatzimmer Sieben an der Donau — Hotel in Ottensheim

I stayed in the room for 6 weeks. Despite the long-term rent, it was an absolutely horrible experience in the end.

Firstly, the room is an insult to anyone who is accustomed to travel and knows what a room should look like. There was no table, no chair, and no TV! A table was brought in upon request. Then came a warning not to use the wardrobes as they were very expensive. This is nonsense considering it’s a rented room. Things should be used.

The bathroom is nice but, like the whole room, it’s constructed with absolute European nonsense. A bare piece of wood is holding the sink. By bare, I mean there’s no protection for the wood. If you use the sink, the wood normally gets wet so it starts to change color or even rot away. That’s the price you pay if you want to be as “bio” as possible.

When I moved out, the owners started complaining and billed an absolutely rude price for the damaged sink of 160€. For what? It wasn’t my fault that it was bare wood! My company paid that nonsense; I would have never. I was billed for an overpriced wine that I never drank from a so-called minibar. Even if I had drunk it, a rent of 6 weeks should include such things. This is a big disrespect to the customer.

The whole place is what we would call greediness and wannabe, and it’s absolutely not recommended.

Because of my job, I see different hotels and rooms almost every day. This one here is the biggest disaster I have ever seen.

The owners try to act friendly and later they just show their greediness. Maybe it’s because of racism as well since I am from Africa.

Nydelig sted med flott beliggenhet, midt i sentrum, utmerkede transportforbindelser i alle retninger. Det finnes til og med en ferge rett foran huset som går til den andre siden av elven og en Donau-bus som går direkte til Linz.

Ukomplisert inn- og utsjekking, varm velkomst fra verten, og alltid god service under oppholdet.

Vi følte oss veldig velkommen og vil gjerne...
