This is a typical Austrian Alpine hotel. If you take into account the location and the family who runs it, I would say it truly offers everything you need — including a good dose of charm. Please keep in mind: this is not a modern city hotel, so don’t expect ultra-modern rooms, a minibar, or similar extras. Instead, it’s an Alpine hotel where you should value the position, the traditional style, the atmosphere, and above all the genuine warmth of the family (several generations together) who take care of the guests. Everything we had was fresh and tasted really good. Breakfast offered a nice variety (just don’t expect a 5-star buffet) and everything was fresh every morning. For those who appreciate the location, nature, and the sound of cows in the early morning, watching the mountains and clouds drift by, this place is simply a perfect choice. Hotel Türlwandhütte is right on the Dachstein cable car at 1,750 m above sea level at the foot of the Dachstein south face.This hotel is with family atmosphere.The room was nice and clean.We had the room with beautifull view on the surroundings.The food was very good with traditional Austrian cuisine.The staff was friendly and helpful.The owners organized overnight trip to a nearby cottage.The hotel has small relaxing area with finnish sauna and infrared cabin. There is ping -pong and table football too.There are free parking places next to the hotel.
