Read moreHello gentle travelers, ||At the Bloberger Hof, Salzburg feels like a secret lullaby sung softly by the mountains. Nestled just beyond the city’s bustle, this pension weaves together warmth and charm in every corner. The bus stop is but a gentle stroll away, carrying you swiftly into the heart of Mozart’s city, yet here, peace lingers like a trusted friend.||The rooms are bright and welcoming, with touches that speak of a family’s pride. What lingers most, however, is the kindness—a staff who notice the little things, who offer help like it is second nature, who make you feel not like a guest but like someone returning home.||Evenings are best savored in the dining room, where local dishes arrive at the table rich with flavor and authenticity. Each bite feels like Salzburg’s story told on a plate—fresh, hearty, and made with genuine care.||There is a rhythm to staying here: the convenience of the city at your doorstep, the tranquility of the countryside enveloping you, and the joy of being cared for in such an attentive way. Bloberger Hof is not just a place to stay—it is a Salzburg memory beautifully written.||That having been said, the rooms do not have air conditioning not unlike many hotels so the summer months might be sticky. And the showers are like one would encounter on a...
Read moreThe Bloberger Hotel is a quaint stay located just outside Salzburg. Our double room was a spacious 39 square meters and included a small refrigerator, sofa, double bed and balcony with a view of the mountains. The hotel and the rooms are extremely clean and well kept. There was always sufficient hot water and water pressure. Driving to the city center is no more than eight (8) minutes. Free parking on site. The nicest thing is you feel as if you are in the country. There is fresh air and you can hear the faint sound of cows mooing in the distance. You can take public transportation to and from the city center. However, we drove. If you drive, be careful with the speed cameras on the road to the city center. I would stay again without any reservations. Service, Cleanliness, Breakfast, and Quality for the money are all Five Stars!
Two additional things to mention: The pillows are big, they are not bad, just different from what I am accustomed to using. Snoopy is the resident canine. He is sweet, calm, and quite. I wish he belonged to me. If someone is allergic to dogs, this might...
