I was traveling through the city, I needed to use WiFi to attend some work calls. I wanted to go to the hotel restaurant because it looked lovely, but it was still closed around 2pm, so I asked at the lobby, is there any place at the hotel I can grab a coffee and use the WiFi, as I have important work calls soon to attend. The lovely lady was very welcoming, and offered me a place in the breakfast area. I purchased a coffee, she offered me water, and I started to work. No one attended me through next 2 hours, but I was very comfortable so that was fine. Soon before 5pm other lady came to me and asked when I plan to leave. I was surprised, but I said I’m finishing soon. I was not offered to order any other drink, and she said, I am not welcomed in this space, as this is only for hotel guests. I was not informed about that, from the beginning, so it made me confused, I said, that I didn’t know, and I was welcomed to work from that area. She replied, that I sit there too long, and I must leave. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I was absolutely okay with making another purchase, or move to restaurant area. It would be only fair to be informed from the start, that I have some time limit to use the space, or that I am not welcomed at all. I said, I was not aware of any limits, and asked, if it’s not okay to make a purchase in this area and use the space. She said, I must leave and I cannot be in the hotel if I’m not a guest. That is very weird, as I’m usually working from the hotel lobbies, as there are quieter than restaurants. Also the hotel itself, and breakfast area is absolutely lovely. So I really enjoyed my time there. But a harsh request of me to instantly leave the space, made me feel, as I did something wrong, while I was just misinformed. Read moreRecently my family and I visited the restaurant of this hotel. Firstly walking into the restaurant it is very well decorated and has a good vibe to it. The food was very tasty and came quickly for great quality. ||||However, the staff and service was very poor and gave me a sour taste leaving the restaurant. The waiter was polite when he was there(Emphasis on when he was there). The staff prefer to talk behind the bar instead of doing there job. When he was there he cleared half the plates while one person was not finished eating. To then not come back for the rest for at least 25 minutes after everyone finished eating. Clearly needs some new management in the restaurant. Read moreour room - looked, felt and smelled lovely (we had our own small sauna in the room which gave our the extra trip cozy touch) a hotel wellness - small and cute with a lot of confortable sofas, beds and snacks, which felt very nice after a day on ski/snowboard literally 30 m from a blue ski slope great personal lockers for ski/snowboard with a secure and direct exit to the street secure and clean indoor parking breakfast - quite nice, high quality food - f.e. great honey, eggs the dinner is a “must try” - we dined also in a few other restaurants but the hotel one was the best we tried the biggest advantage are the people working there. Our warmest thoughts go to Lucia❤️, Elvis, Ivana, Krisztina and Mr Lürzer.
