Let me start by talking about how I got to this place. I was driven there by someone who had only one hand and was driving dangerously fast. I honestly began to pray while fighting the urge to throw up, hoping nothing bad would happen. The moment we arrived and I stepped out of the car, I finally did throw up.
Checking in was probably the best part of the entire trip — quick and smooth. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. The rooms were terrible and smelled strongly of mold. It honestly seemed like some kind of animal was decomposing behind the walls. I couldn’t sleep at all that night because of the unbearable smell and even considered checking out immediately. It felt more like an escape than a relaxing stay at a ski hut.
Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. But if you decide to, just know you’re doing it at your own risk.
The only redeeming parts were the check-in and check-out processes, which were both efficient, and the breakfast, which...
Read moreBooked via Booking.com. Told them a few days before arrival that I’ll be bringing my dog. They said no problem. On their page it says that you need to use the gondel to get to the skihutte which is not a problem for our dog. Upon arrival however the man at the gondel said the gondel has been closed for almost 2 years. After contacting the skihutte (took 6 calls) they said use the chair lift, this is extremely dangerous for the dog. We paid big money for 2 nights and had to find a new hotel for even more as the area was fully booked by 99% en close to new years. They don’t want to give us back our money, regardless of the misinforming us and other clients on their booking and private website, the skihutte did not provide a solution and said the dog is your problem. Worst customer server...
Read moreVery unfriendly. We booked a room for two and a dog. However, there is no way to reach the hut with your dog. The gondel lift has been out of service for two years (only the chair lift works but this is way too dangerous with a dog and suitcases). After driving for 10 hours, we arrived in the region with no way to get to the hut with our dog. We called the owner and (after not picknick up 5 times) he simply said “not my problem”. He did not want to help us in this situation. We were forced to book a different (more expensive) hotel. We did not get our money back. The descriptions on Booking.com are very untrue...
