Never came across such a pathetic hotel in my entire life span of travel to many countries/destinations !!! Despite emailing request for early/priority check-in, were made to wait till 15:30 hrs, even though many check-outs had taken place at around noon !!! They kept maintaining their "3 PM" check-in time rule.|After getting the room, was shocked to see that the work desk chair's furnishing was soiled and dirty !! Showed the same to the bell desk staff who dialled a no for me to report it the their concerned team, for replacement. No action till around 10 PM, when I returned from dinner and showed the photo's to the shift in-charge !!! Chair replaced at 10:30 PM.|Had been requesting for an iron since check-in but was told at night that they have only one iron in the hotel and it was in great demand !! Next evening was told that the iron had been sent out for repair !!! In the morning the was told that they do not have an iron in the hotel !!|There were no sachets of milk powder/creamer provided and when requested, was told that milk powder could be provided but we would be charged for it !!! Went across to a bazar and bought a small tetra pack of milk for using with tea.|The breakfast buffet was poorly managed and unable to cater to the "eggs to order", with long que's/waiting time !!! Gave up the idea on both day's !!!|Cutlery provided on table's had either fork or knife missing !! Waffle counter was seen abandoned off and on !!!|The attititude of the entire front office staff was most in-hospitable and "they don't care a damn" about the customer !!! |Decided to move to another hotel, fore-going 2 nights which were still left !!! |Never faced such un-professional hospitality ever !!!|Location wise too this hotel is about 50 mins walk from Nizami street !!! I recently stayed at the Qafqaz Baku City Hotel & Residences, a 4-star hotel in Baku, and here's my honest review:
Positives: ⢠Nice ambiance: The hotel's ambiance is impressive and eye-catching. ⢠Spacious rooms: The rooms are generously sized, which is a big plus. ⢠Good restaurant: The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes with good food quality. ⢠Convenient location: The hotel is located in a nice area, making it easy to explore the city. ⢠In-house night club: A great option for those looking for evening entertainment.
Areas for Improvement: ⢠Limited Indian food options: Although they have a separate counter for Indian food, the options are limited. Service time delay: There's a noticeable delay in service, requiring multiple calls to fulfill requests. Cold corridors: The corridors can be quite chilly during winter, which needs attention. ⢠Rules and regulations: While it's good they provide a policy document, it could be presented in a more welcoming manner.
Overall: Despite some areas for improvement, I enjoyed my 3-day stay at the Qafqaz Baku City Hotel & Residences. With its nice ambiance, spacious rooms, and good restaurant, it's a solid choice for travelers. However, the hotel needs to work on its service efficiency and address the limited Indian...
