My experience at Jungle Cottage was extremely disappointing. While the location and the rooms themselves are genuinely good (the only saving grace), the entire stay was utterly ruined by service that was, frankly, the worst thing you can ever imagine. We were paying a premium value, but were denied the basic service we deserved. ​The hassle began immediately with check-in. We had booked two rooms and made an advance payment for the entire arrangement more than 15 days prior. Despite this clear arrangement, we did not receive our second room until around 8:30 PM, instead of the scheduled 1:00 PM check-in time. This long delay completely ruined our first day.

​The neglect continued with basic amenities. For four people, we were only provided two towels—a truly horrifying experience. Simple necessities like toiletries were not provided on time, requiring us to chase the staff repeatedly.

​Furthermore, I strongly recommend that guests do not avail their BBQ service; it was trash.

​Overall, the staff and management were unresponsive and seemed disorganized. They do not respond on time and gave the distinct impression that they were just there to fool around, rather than attend to paying guests. The booking number does not respond promptly as well. We called at least 4 times during check in time to inform what we were facing they didn’t pick up.
