Homey Hostel — Hotel in Minsk

This was rude and terrible behavior from *Irina Sinitskaya, the director of the hostel, and I do not recommend this place under any circumstances while she is in charge of this place. I checked in at around 17:00, 14.03.2024, and the kind Ukrainian woman met me and let me come in. (I know all people because I lived in this hostel first days of February 2024.) I put my bags next to the my bed and laid on the bed. After 20 minutes I started to talk with my friend by phone. It was very serious conversation. in 15 minutes Irina came into the room and smiled me, I said I have an important conversation , I will come to you later and she nodded her head and left the room. 10 minutes later she came again and said PAY!!! I said okey no problem, now I will finish my call and come to you in five minutes. She: No Way! PAY right now! You have been talking with phone for more than hour(for her 10 minutes went like 60 min). So I gave her 40 BYN (= €13) instead of 30 and added: no need to give me back my 10 BYN. She disliked what I said, so she threw the money to me and said rudely Get out from my hostel as soon as possible!!! I was just SHOCKED, how human can behave like this!? How can a person not care about how and where I should go in the evening at such a time to check into another place? for what reason??? NO REASON! The room was clean and amazing. If you prefer to stay in hostel in Minsk then this is the best place you can go for. This is my first try of Hostel and I have no regrets. Best value for money, Irina is an amazing host. She speaks both Russian and English and she takes good care of her guests.
