My husband and I enjoyed three wonderful evenings in this charming hotel. It's filed with history and beautifully restored. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. It's located in the picturesque village of Crupet. We enjoyed a walk around the village each morning. Stone cottages with lush gardens line the streets. Perhaps my favorite part of the stay was the owner, Patrick. While his English was limited, he went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He greeted us each morning for breakfast. a real treat with lots of locally sources items. He also showed us a map of interesting sites to visit. The area is lush with a nearby stream and a well-kept lawn. The room was a decent size with a separate bathroom and loo.
The hotel smells wonderful, a forest aroma in the afternoon and fresh pastries baking in the morning.
The breakfast was superb, a selection of bread and pastries, local cheeses, pâté and ham, as well as homemade jams, local honey, and a wonderful mixed fruit compote. It was surprisingly quiet during our stay, which was on a Tuesday and Wednesday night.

This is a beautifully restored mill house with some exquisite features.
