Green Resort Limburg — Hotel in Houthalen-Helchteren

Spent two nights here in August 2016.|Arrived here at 1400hrs after a long drive from Amsterdam but could not gain access to our apartment until 1500hrs. This was a problem because all four of us were desperate to use toilet after our long journey. No staff were on site to help or give advice, we were unable to find any communal facilities except the poolside porta loo, but this was unusable because it was full to the point of overflowing!|The apartment was clean, modern and well equipped, but I think towels should be supplied without an additional charge.|My other complaint is the "room charge", an extra €116, which is not shown until the final stage of booking. I would not have booked if I had known about this, but I allowed my 16 year old daughter to complete the transaction and she didn't realise that this charge was compulsory. I really think that the price advertised should be the price you pay, without any hidden extras at the last minute. I...

While the accommodation cud do with a bit of updating it was OK. My kids enjoyed the pool and playground but this was all.. Anytime we went to see the activities they wer never translated and in the week that we were here we never saw 1 staff member except for the guy who looks after the pool. There is no shop or cafe on site which was kind of annoying as everytime u wanted a snack u had to drive miles to a shop. We did enjoy our time here but I think it was more that we were away as a family... The site isint the best and I cannot see...

Kleine nette studio's, voor een gezin van 5 mss. toch net iets te klein. Op het park is er niet veel te beleven, dat wisten we op voorhand. En daarom is het ook erg rustig op het domein wat we erg apprecieerden. Enkele dagen per week stond er een foodtruck, met schappelijke prijzen en een goeie kwaliteit. Ideale uitvalbasis, met de auto is er genoeg vertier in de buurt te vinden. Kleine tip laat het naburig park hengelhoef links liggen. Hengelhoef is precies een vluchtelingenpark geworden. Maar op het domein van holiday suites heb je daar gelukkig geen last van. Er waren wel een paar huisjes waar ik denk dat ze asielzoekers in onder brengen. Maar dat waren gezinnen die zich netjes gedroegen en je geen last van hebt. Algemene hygiëne erg goed, park netjes onderhouden en het vriendelijk schoonmaakpersoneel doet vlijtig hun job. Geboekt met flink wat kortingacties dus prijs/kwaliteit zat het voor ons zeer goed. Maar denk niet dat ik er de volle pot zou willen aanbesteden. We hebben een leuke week gehad die zo voorbij gevlogen was. Het was dan ook redelijk mooi weer tijdens ons verblijf. Bij regenweer was het mss. iets minder geweest maar dit heb je natuurlijk zelf...
