The rooms are consistently clean, modern, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that make every stay feel like home. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, from the lobby to the dining areas to the pool and common spaces. Everything feels fresh, updated, and welcoming.

But what truly sets Novotel apart is the staff—especially Claudia. She is an absolute gem. Coordinating group bookings can be complex, but Claudia makes the process seamless and stress-free every time. She’s professional, responsive, kind, and incredibly good at what she does. In all my years of working with hotels across multiple countries, she is the best I’ve ever worked with—hands down.

It is my 3rd time using Novotel Santa Cruz , and with the years you can noticed the hotel does not have a good leading team , and proper facility maintenance. Personal at the recepcion at check in and check out doesnt warm and greet you when checking in and checking out. The options at the breakfast buffet much more limited than previous stays. The public area , pool ( was heated now it is not) , and the whirpool was not working. The atmosphere at the bar and lobby is not the same . I stayed 5 days in this hotel and it was not a good experience, first I have been waiting for three weeks for my Accor frequent guest account to be credited for the night and they still haven't done it, second it is a hotel focused on local social events and not on business travelers.
