We reserved a camping spot at your site. According to the description provided during the booking process, each pitch was supposed to include access to electricity, drinking water, sanitary facilities, and showers.||Upon arrival, however, we discovered that the reality was very different from what was advertised:| • The campsite is not parcelled at all – it is merely an open area where guests are given a piece of land for their tent.| • There was no proper access to drinking water, apart from taps inside the public toilets used by all park visitors.| • The showers were inadequate, consisting only of an outdoor cold-water tap in front of the men’s restroom, offering no privacy.| • The hygiene and cleanliness of the toilets were extremely poor, as they were used throughout the day by a large number of tourists.| • When we asked at reception about the promised showers, we were told that “campers usually don’t shower,” which we found highly unprofessional.||The services provided were therefore not in line with what was promised in the booking description. In reality, this was not a proper campsite but simply a piece of land within a park, charged as if it...

Visitor for a day. It's very small actually, and more than half of spaces are for customers that sleep there only ( camp, rooms). So if you are not sleeping there, you can walk few hundred meter and thats all. You can't access beach, " resting space" and anything else. Everywhere are signs " Don't step on grass" , going here or there is forbidden, so it is actually very boring place. In restaurant we got wrong order ( Trout with potato salad instead of chard and Quinoa), and trout was about 200g in portion. I never saw smaller one on a plate. Seems like they don't have all ingredients for meals on menu. And for those few hudred meters to walk, you need to pay enterance fee- It's small fee of 2 KM ( 1€), but I don't get it, what for. For two benches and alot of signs- where you can not go and what you shouldn't do. There are alot places on Una river that gives you alot more Joy for free, like Male Ade in Bosanska Krupa. Disappointed. I suggest you...

Despite visiting at the end of March when most facilities were closed, the beauty of the place was undeniable. The Japod Islands offer a serene escape into nature, with stunning landscapes and the tranquil flow of the Una River creating a peaceful ambiance. While we couldn't enjoy all the amenities due to the off-season timing, we could still appreciate the untouched beauty of the islands. It's evident that this destination would truly come to life during the summer months, with the opportunity to partake in various activities like hiking, picnicking, and perhaps even some water sports. Despite the limitations during our visit, we left with a sense of awe and a desire to return when everything is in full swing. Definitely worth another visit, especially during the warmer months when the islands are sure to be buzzing with life.

Glamping break is a great way to find a pattern which gives you energy, better quality of sleep and tranquality ; the early morning sunshine and slow sunsets both act as ques for the body to wake up or wind down. A place where you find the stillness of the mind. Fireplace for connecting the family, water sounds of the river Una and swimming in the coldness and kneipping, just pure nature. Happiness. It is a sweet escape indeed. Very kind and helpfull stuff, you can rent kayaks or bikes for free if you are a guest of Japodski otoci, you can enjoy every bit of calmness here. In love with this place. We will come back for sure! 💚

Lovey little spot to enjoy the flow of water in the shade. Relatively small complex with bridges interconnecting a few very small islands, peppered with history tidbits and statues of the ancient Japode peoples who inhabited the islands and surrounding area. It costs 2KM for adults (kids free) to enter as a day visitor. There’s a small playground, boat rides, and bar and a restaurant. The glamping area is for overnight guests only. There is no swimming area for day guests. Very limited parking for campervans and likely none on a busy weekend day.
