The room was full of dirt everywhere. The towels and bed sheets were full of spots. When we arrived, it was clearly not changed from previous clients (smell of swet on pillows, towels not dry and with spots e.g. Of blood) We've asked several times to the attendant to change it. initially it was not done and even the towels left on the dirty floor where Just put back on the hanger. Then it was finally replaced... By other dirty towels! The room itself was not clean at all, especially the bathroom which was a nightmare. Spurs of moisture, ventilation of toilets not working, mirror full of dirt, basin was clogged during the whole stay. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, hard to fine tune, and stopped several times to restart only some time later. The fridge was not clean, especially the freezer part which was simply too dirt to use. The small sofa as broken and unusable. The lamps were full of dirt. Initally White, it is at least half yellow now! The balcony was very tiny, without any seat nor table, and the ventilator of the air conditionning already taking a lot of space. The underground garage is very tiny and has max 15-20 parking slots (for 136 room-hotel!) hence often full, and you have to give the key to the attendant, Who doesn't even gives you a paper that you left your car, neither makes a tour with you when giving the car and taking it back to check if there is something. The door of the room lets enter all the noise of the corridor. The entrance is not safe at all, no room key required to use the elevator. Haven't seen an armed night guard, which in this area is a must to guarantee the security of guests. The terrace is huge and pretty nice, but Just near the main road Santos Dumont. As well as the swimming pool. By the way, on paper the half-olympic swimming pool, whirlpool and children's pool sounds good, but in reality it is not that nice. It's pretty small, as well as dirty. Overall, the staff is friendly, but not really quick. The breakfast buffet is not that big and has almost always the same things to eat. Fruits are not so mature, and bread is mainly deep frozen, especially the "pão de queijo". There is no possibity to have fresh espresso instead of the bad coffee from the pot. Room service is pretty fast, but food is nothing exceptional, as well as in the restaurant. The WiFi is absolutely unusable. I had to work, it was a real nightmare. Even with mobile phone, the connection was interrupted all the time (every5-10 minutes). The wired network line in the room was not working at all. The electical plugs in the rooms are old ones, which do not work with adapters for 3-pin plugs. I had to go to the restaurant to recharge my laptop! The location is very good, near bars, restaurants and the beach in front (definitely not the best part of the beach), but be cautious, the streets behind the hotel are quite dangerous, with prostitutes and homeless people. For more or less the same price, i highly recommend other hotel in the same area (there a 4 hotels one after the other). The restaurant is ok and furniture rather nice, but not open all the time. The gym...
Read moreNice hotel in front of the Atalaia beach in Aracaju, where you have lots of options of restaurants and bars after sunset. During the day, the public place is too hot and just a few brave people can endure that - people looking for beach activities during the day usually go a bit south and/or engage one of the excursions offered to tourists while in Aracaju (very good ones in fact!). The hotel looks new and the facilities are very modern and clean. The breakfast is really top quality! They have a swimming pool that unfortunately opens only from 9am to 5pm (I would certainly like to be there until 8~9pm, as the local climate invites us for that). We were with a baby and they have a baby-kitchen facility that looked interesting, although we did not need it. A bad point for people with babies is that they do not have the bathroom prepared for the young guests - when I asked if they had a baby bath tub or other thing to help with that, the front desk staff simply said "sorry, we cannot help" - I expected more at this point. Likewise, they have a spa that was not working and a bar that was strangely closed the whole time - even stranger in this case was the fact that we were there during a holiday, so no much excuses to keep it closed. I overall liked the place, but with its current price, I would research a bit more other options in the same area (there are lots of hotel options at the...
Read moreI went to work but I'll have to go back and this hotel and enjoy the cozy capital of Sergipe. The daily rate of $ 150.00 worth. Breakfast typical of the region is very good but not like spice called coriander ask where before they put on the same morning meal. Many young people and artists are at this time of summer. So will assess whether there is pretty busy since. But many families were in the hotel too. Attendants friendly and helpful as well. Taxi service works. I preferred to stay in rooms facing the back because the avenue despite the view of the waterfront park has more noise in particular from Thursday to Saturday in summer shows. It has a nice park near oceanarium. Several fairs artezanatos. It has several bars with typical and delicious tapioca. Climate verão.Achei the two slow elevators. But the building only has 4 floors. The room is comfortable and well cleaned. Not be surprised that the shower retains some water but after it exits .. slowly. I was there 2 times and I think the problem is hydraulic ... but not interfere with anything. It has channels in Portuguese and English. Internet was working fine and is...
