Pousada Tropicalia Canoa Quebrada — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Aracati

Given that it's a relatively small place - we were overwhelmed with the choice of places to stay! We had been recommended staying at another place but it was fully booked so we chose this place based on reviews and also the pictures made it look very arty and funky.||||The pictures are definitely photo shopped - and it's not the arty funky we were expecting - but it was lovely all the same! There was ALWAYS someone at reception and they were smiley and friendly. The downstairs chill open air courtyard is very cool and great to relax or watch TV if you want (we didn't but the option is there!). I would choose an upstairs room as it is more 'private'. Lovely rooms and great breakfast. Only problem for us was very loud television at night time. The night security guy watched tv all night long, loudly! Went out at midnight to ask if the volume could go down and nobody was there. Turned it down but volume went back up shortly after. The security guy turned it down on request at 2am after a particularly dramatic novela was too much for us. Not sure if it was just our room that got the worst of the noise or if the other Brazilian guests were used to noise!||Other than that, lovely place. Helpful and...

Inicialmente, fizemos reserva pelo Booking.com. Por algum motivo, não conseguiam passar meu cartão. Por duas vezes, atualizei no aplicativo e não deu certo. Liguei para resolver e fui informada de que estava tudo certo e depois poderia acertar no hotel. Depois, minha reserva foi cancelada. Liguei novamente e era isso mesmo. Tive que fazer uma transferência. Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Ana Paula. Atendimento muito bom. Entretanto, as instalações do quarto deixam muito a desejar. Quarto escuro. Box do banheiro quebrado e a porta não fechava. Toalhas e lençóis descosturados. A toalha estava cheia de plantinhas grudadas que pareciam carrapatos. Colchão da cama extremamente mole e afundando no meio. Teia de aranha atrás da porta. Local barulhento. Hóspedes passando pelo corredor e fazendo muito barulho. Muito barulho em frente ao hotel. No café da manhã, até tinha variedade, mas a reposição não dava conta porque as pessoas enchiam seus pratos, fazendo com que tudo que era reposto acabasse rapidamente. Enfim, a estadia não foi agradável....
