Crescent Moon Inn — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Eunápolis - Porto Seguro

We spent 8 beautiful days in Pousada Quarto Crescente, and it was hands down the best stay in my travels over 5 continents and 44 countries. The hospitality and attention to the guests of the owners of this place is incomparable. The hotel grounds are a tropical paradise, with exotic trees and flowers, birds. ||||Joana, the owner's daughter, is there daily to insure every guest is happy and enjoyed breakfast ( which is composed of eggs any style, a number of natural tropical juices which change daily - including goiaba, cocoa, passion fruit, cashew fruit, cupuacu, detox juice, etc , quiches to die for, typical Brazilian finger foods, tapiocas ( salty and sweet), 3 cakes chat also change daily, yogurts, breads, you name it). Oh, and there is also an afternoon tea, that is a full meal on its own - with a soup, quiches, finger foods, cakes, etc! Everything is of the top quality and very tasty.||||The room we stayed in ( Aquarela) was in one of the newest cottages, on the first floor, and I'd gladly stay there forever - a very spacious and beaitiuful room in Trancoso style, with white drapes around the beds, huge bathroom with double shower and a jacuzzi for 2, TVs in the room and in the bathroom, a very spacious terrace with a hammock ( we spent lotsa time there reading and napping), chairs, and a table. We had beautiful tropical flowers in our bathroom, that were changed every other day, it was such a nice touch. I highly recommend to book this room, we felt so much comfort and attention to detail, also, as it's on the first ( and not ground) floor, we had a beautiful view of the flowering banana tree right in of our terrace. Ground floor rooms are good too, as many of them have small private gardens, and the Pousada territory is full of blooming orchids and is very green.||||Hotel is offering free transfers to and from a number of beaches ( our favorite one was the Coqueiros beach, you need to walk a bit to the right past the beach clubs with chairs and umbrellas to find the whole stretch of the sand to yourself in the shade of a tree). Also, as a guest you may have unlimited popcorn and brigadeiro ( Brazilian tradicional desert) pretty much all day, for free.||||But what impressed me most was that during the Christmas Eve the hotel owners offered a full TOP NOTCH Christmas Eve dinner for hotel guests..for free!!! Both owners' children, Joana and Ian, were there to personally ensure the guests enjoyed the evening, pouring wine ( that again, they didn't charge for), and making sure we were enjoying. That was so impressive... they could charge for the dinner, but they didn't. They could not be there personally, but there were. They could provide just OK food, but they provided the best food they could, and I never had a better turkey in my life ( not counting filet mignon, freshest local fish, side Brazilian dishes, salads, deserts...)||||Oh, and we've got our favorite cake ( the one topped with cashew nuts) given to us to take home upon our check out on the last day...||||I can't wait to return. I can't thank enough the owners ( Peter, Eunice) and their kids ( Joana, Ian), and the employees ( Maiara, Erica, Aline, Felipe) for taking an amazing care of us in their amazing Hotel. Thank...

I can’t say enough about this place, if I could give it more stars I would . The grounds are impeccable! The beds are super comfortable with nice bedding. The showers are great with hot water & good pressure, The coffee machine makes the most delicious cafe com leite & made our morning coffee time out on the balcony that much better. It’s so peaceful and tranquil with gorgeous plants and lush gardens everywhere. |The breakfast is quite the spread. They have a different variety of fresh fruits and cakes, yogurt, fresh juices, made to order tapioca or omelettes. I had never tried the tapioca and the owner Joanna, who is super sweet and personable, came over to our table and insisted that we try a few different kinds and made us a few small ones& even some special ones for my son. Its in a perfect location, only a few minutes walk to the Quadrado but still in the downtown area with lots of shops. |All of the staff were amazing. Everyone at the front desk, the drivers who took us to the beach, all of the kitchen staff, and even the gardeners were the most kind and hospitable staff I have ever met. |Our experience was so wonderful & we are already planning on going back and staying here for a longer period of time. ||I almost forgot, they asked us the night before we left what kind of cake we liked and sent us off with an entire cake! It just so happens it’s my husband’s birthday, so it was a very nice treat! ||Thank you for a wonderful vacation, we will be back sooner...

Zum zweiten Mal als Gast in der Pousada Quarto Crescente:|||Zusammengefasst: |||- Hübsche und sehr saubere Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung (Klima, Safe, Kühlschrank mit Minibar, moderne Fernseher, etc.).||- Die Zimmer und Apartments sind auf mehrere kleine Häuser in einer toll gepflegten Gartenanlage verteilt, zu der auch ein großer Pool mit Whirlpool gehören.||- Das Essen, besonders das Frühstück ist sensationell. Sonderwünsche für frische Säfte oder besondere Varianten von Omlette oder Tapioca sind immer möglich. Dazu gibt es am späten Nachmittag noch einen sehr üppigen „Nachmittagscafé“ (Pastete, Kuchen, Suppe…) nach dem man eigentlich kein Abendessen mehr braucht. Alles wird übrigens frisch vor Ort selbst gebacken.||- Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.||- Man läuft nur ein paar Minuten zum Quadrado oder Strand. Kleine Supermärkte, Apotheken und diverse kleine Restaurants und Geschäfte liegen in direkter Umgebung.|||Wer den Service eines Hotels und gleichzeitig die familiäre Atmosphäre einer Pousada sucht, ist hier genau richtig! Die guten Bewertungen auf TripAdvisor und Booking sind berechtigt. Absolut empfehlenswert!|||Etwas ausführlicher:|||Die Pousada Quarto Crescente ist ein Familienbetrieb und nach europäischen Verhältnissen schon ein kleines Hotel. Als Gast fühlt man sich von der Ankunft an direkt wie ein Familienmitglied und kommt leicht mit den Besitzern ins Gespräch. Der umsorgende Service und die typische brasilianische Freundlichkeit lassen einen schnell abschalten, um Wetter und Umgebung genießen. Die Gäste sind hauptsächlich aus anderen Regionen Brasiliens. Europäische Gäste sind eher in der Minderheit. Wer also ins brasilianische Leben eintauchen und nicht beim Frühstück an jedem zweiten Tisch deutsch oder englisch hören will, ist hier genau richtig.|||Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Man hat als Ausstattung alles was man braucht, ohne dass es mit unnötigen Dingen überladen ist. Und für das Gefühl des kleinen Luxus zwischendurch sorgt die Hängematte auf dem Balkon oder der Terrasse. Wem Ozean und Pool nicht genug sind, kann sich auch ein Zimmer mit XL- Whirlpool Badewanne mieten.|||Die Gartenanlage ist aufgebaut wie ein kleiner Park. Man merkt, dass hier die Besitzer mit Begeisterung und Liebe zum Detail am Werk sind. Überall findet man die verschiedensten Blumen und Pflanzen, alles wunderbar gepflegt. Wenn die Kakaubäume Früchte tragen, kann man sich den Caipirinha in der frisch vom Baum gepflückten Kakaufrucht servieren lassen. Wo kann man sowas sonst bekommen?|||Das Essen ist ein Kapitel für sich. Jeden Tag gibt es verschiedene frisch gebackene Kuchen und Pasteten, deren Qualität mit jeder Bäckerei mithalten kann. Dazu die verschiedensten frischen Früchte, Omlette und Tapioca (Empfehlung, da man sowas in Deutschland nicht bekommt). Man braucht schon eine Woche, um sich durch das ganze Buffet zu futtern. Wenn man abends mal nicht am Quadrado essen gehen möchte, ersetzt der Café da tarde problemlos ein Abendessen und man kann es sich mit einem Cocktail am Pool gemütlich machen.|||Die Lage ist nicht direkt am Quadrado, aber dennoch zentral. Bis zum Quadrado läuft man 5 min, bis zum Strand gut 10 Minuten. Und bei dem ganzen guten Essen schaden ein paar Meter zu Fuß...
