We had a beautiful and very pleasant time at the Casa da Vanessa. The house we stayed in and the surrounds were stunning and very well maintained. Swimming in the pool at night or lounging in the hammock in the early morning listening to the wildlife were amongst the highlights.||||All staff went extra mile to make our stay in Trancoso unforgettable, but we have to highlight Vanessa in particular. She truly couldn’t do enough for us and went far beyond our expectations when we first arrived. Engaging with her was like engaging with a friend and she was able to advise on so many things to do in the area.||||One of our groups also availed of an evening deep tissue ayurveda massage provided by Vanessa’s daughter, Nayana who was every bit as lovely as her mother both when working professionally and when engaging with informally.||||Every aspect of our trip was wonderful and we would highly recommend Casa Vanessa to any of our friends and any tourists traveling in the area. We were truly amazed with this pousada - Casa de Vanessa it does not has ocean view, but this does not takes out its charm: nestled amongst absolutely gorgeous landscaped gardens, (yes they are really concerned with the environment and try to keep it as much primary original trees as possible!) - where we were visited by different birds and animals (wild free monkeys and sloths) while hanging on my hammock and relaxing reading my books... Paradise! Add to this a friendly staff and accommodating, couldn't ask for more. Each bungalows has huge fenced gardens (my pets were able to run free) and balcony, equipped kitchen and BBQ area. Arriving from a morning at the beach and finding our room clean with a local Bossa Nova playing on it´s radio was a plus. It was like being pampered in my own house.. Le lieu est fidèle à sa description sur le site mais pour des non brésiliens, l’accueil n’est pas aussi au top à mon sens. Les maisons devaient être vraiment très jolies et en bon état il y a plusieurs années mais ne sont malheureusement pas entretenues comme il le faudrait par rapport au prix vendu. C’est vraiment dommage. Il faudrait faire peu pour que cela soit réglé et retrouve sa splendeur. En cas de météo pluvieuse, il y a pas mal de fuites dans les 2 maisons que nous avons loué et beaucoup de petits détails pas très bien réglé : tiroir défectueux, ventilateur ne marchant pas …..qui signifie qu’avant l’arrivée des clients pour le pic de la saison touristique , aucun controle des maisons n’est effectué correctement. Par exemple , on nous conseille de ne pas utiliser l’armoire penderie dans la maison car fuite du toit ! Pour le prix on aurait préféré qu’il répare la fuite du toit avant NoeL. Petit déjeuner très bien et local. Jardin magnifique. Par contre la Villa 1 est collée à la route de terre et nous entendions vraiment bien le flot des voitures ce qui est dommage pour un endroit aussi exotique dans un petit village retiré.
