Pousada Jacarandá — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Eunápolis - Porto Seguro

Simply paradise! Just 6 bungalows set in a beautiful garden with a large pool and sunbathing area. Even with the other bungalows occupied, it felt exclusive and it was so peaceful sitting by the pool and watching the birds and lizards play in the variety of trees. Our bungalow was for two people with one bedroom but was comfortable and clean. Surrounded by nature, the mosquito nets around the bed were a good idea although we didn’t have any visitors in our room for our 5 day stay. Our bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful and everything was available.||You have just a 5 minute walk to the village centre |and just 10 minutes more to the beach.||A special mention for the staff and breakfast. They were so friendly and professional, the receptionists were totally helpful and always available. The kitchen staff prepared the food themselves and changed the selection each morning. They even made me a special cake for my birthday!||Considering that this pousada is not the most expensive available the value and experience is fabulous.||We will definitely visit again and recommend it...

The Dream Team:||Analice and Marco, the owners, take care of everyone and everything. They gave us really good advices for finding good and calm beaches and places for having diner. They speak further languages. Mario, the Italian chief, with the help of his wife, concocts tasty meals if you want to stay at the pousada for the lunch and/or the diner. The breakfast is fantastic and garnished with typical dishes, fruits, cakes…||The Best Spot:||Close to, but not too much, beaches (essential due to the mangrove swamp close to the beaches and thus mosquitos at night). Close to, but not too much, the touristic square which can be noisy at night too. Close to the city center for going outside the box and the beaten path. The bungalows are in a wonderful and very well maintained park. I was also surprised to find a pool larger than what I was expecting to see, when I was watching the pictures on the website. In addition, Trancoso is a lovely place for resting and enjoying.||Finally, we came 6 days with our 3 months baby and the calm and the pousada were perfectly...

Family bungalow was perfect for our needs. The outside balcony was really pleasant in the evening. Manageress was friendly, informative, and could not have done more to be helpful. The location, within a tropical garden, was delightful. 5 minutes walking distance to the quadrado, main square, and 15 minutes walk to the beaches. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, and the on-site chef, Mario, was superb. Apart from Cupim Santo restaurant, which was excellent, I would recommend you order dishes from Mario; better food and better value than most places in the quadrado.||||Overall, we had a great stay.
