Bresil Aventure has the best location in Galinhos! Right at the beach with amazing view!||This was my 2sd time there. The 1st time was in 2013 with a group of friends, and everything was great.||This time however we got a little disappointed.||I booked 3 rooms with ocean view. About 2 moths before our arrival I booked a 4th room and they confirmed me the 4th room also with ocean view. Unfortunately when we got there there were just 3 available rooms with ocean view.||The pousada, specially the rooms and bathrooms are in need of a renovation. Looked like not much was done in the last 3 years.||The water from the AC dropped inside the room, right next to the bed. One of the mattress (the double bed is two single beds put together) was quite old. ||In none of the rooms there were soaps not even to wash the hands. In my room there was no toilet paper. We had to ask for it 3 times until someone gave us one. During the other days no extra paper was brought, and we had to ask again for a new roll once ours was gone.||The food (lunch/dinner/snacks) was good but looks like there is no standard in the kitchen. Some dishes ordered in different time and day, came in different sizes. A dish that was supposed to come with rice came with pasta, and other mixed ups with other dishes also happened.||3 years ago the breakfast was delicious. We got fresh tapioca and eggs. The owner was there and made sure everything was great (good job back then!).||This time in the days we had tapiocas they were made in the beginning of breakfast which means after 20 minutes they were cold and hard. Same with the eggs, made at the beginning, nothing to keep them warm, so we ate cold eggs.||The rest of the breakfast was good though.||The are lots of employees but a boss figure is missing. One day there was noone looking after the breakfast buffet. We had to tell the kitchen staff ourselves what was missing. A big table that a group had lunch at remained dirty until few minutes before the same group came in for breakfast the next day. A empty bottle of beer stayed on a table for almost 2 days. One evening a caipirinha glass fell on the floor. They cleaned the broken glass but the lemons stayed on the floor during the whole next day. ||The swimming pool was quite dirty||They should pay more attention to...
Read moreAfter arriving at Galinhos, we went here to have lunch before kitesurfing. We made our order around 12:45 (plan was to go kitesurfing at 3pm... plenty of time, you would think). Half an hour later, the waiter let us know that one of the soups was not available (they obviously hadn't start cooking yet). We asked them to hurry with the food, as we were hungry and had plans. At 2pm, the food still hasn't arrived. At this point we were very annoyed (hangry) and told the waiter that if the food wasn't served within 15 minutes, then we would get up and leave. At around 14:15 he started serving the food one by one. My soup was served in a gratin dish, was luke warm, looked disgusting and tasted even worse. I normally don't like wasting food, but I simply could not eat it!! The spaghetti that the guys ordered was overcooked, and the sauce tasted like it came out of a packet (not home-made).. the toast bread that was meant to come with the soup, arrived only upon request from us and was served after everyone was finshed eating. I must say, that the toasted bread was the best part of the meal, and it was not spectacular. After discussing with the waiter that the food was inedible and that we wouldn't pay the full price, he gave us a bit of a discount. However, the bill was still exceptionally high. There was no apology, and they charged me R$ 5 for 350ml sparkling water, although in the menu it says it costs R$ 5 for 500ml. I must say, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had, and probably the worst meal I have ever attempted to eat. The staff was very incompetent, and clearly not skilles. We cannot understand why we had to wait so long, as the restaurant was not busy at all.. It's a shame, because the location is amazing! Unless they change their staff and cooking skills, I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. We stayed at Chalet Oasis, and the food and service there...
Read moreHonestly , for me this place was pure heaven. I have never ever been so relaxed, chilled out and happy, it was just what I needed. I had a swim every night under the stars with a glass of red. It’s not expensive, in fact , very very good value for money to be frank. The food was great, and they'd work around you. The service couldn’t of been nicer, and they were always smiling. The Internet was ok, and worked in the restaurant and room, but if you have more than one device in your room, then it becomes a bit tricky , so that would be my only suggestion, that the WIFI gets upgraded. The decor and style is very contemporary , cool, quite chic and two story bar and cafe, and around 5pm you go to the bar, sip cocktails and sit in a hammock and watch the sunset which is incredible. They say this is the new Tbau Du Sol…..I think they might just be right.||||You come here to get away from the world and this is the perfect place. I walked along the beach in the morning , did some writing and had lunch , more writing , swim, writing and so on…….In fact by the time I left , I hugged them and even shed a little tear as I hadn’t had peace and quiet like that in years as I headed off on my donkey that they organised and included in my bill. ||||I’ll never forget my time here…..truly once in a lifetime experience……if you want the real Brazil……then this is...
