Hotel Pousada Girassol — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Paranaguá

We booked here because this is the area we wanted to stay and it seems at the time, there wasn't anywhere else. However, wish we hadn't! It's overpriced and grotty. Location: good for the beach but that's all. |I'd tried to cancel but couldn't without losing money so we stayed. The first night there was a rock concert around 50 metres from the pousada. I suppose that's ok but it's totally inappropriate not to make you aware that a) theres a concert Venue at the bottom of the block and b) there's an all night karaoke bar on the other corner. So 1st night, went to sleep at around 11pm, awoke at 12:30am with the blasting out of rock music. This went on till 5:00 am when the karaoke took over. When remarked upon at breakfast, we were told its every night. It wasnt, just Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday nights. |The room: very, very basic, grubby looking, plastic on the mattress with a bottom sheet so thin you could see the brown plastic mattress cover through it. We didn't use the bottom sheet but slept on the top. The fridge leaked and when we asked for it to be changed, the owner came and pushed it so that the door was against the wall and couldn't open. The first morning, we opened the fridge to find a gecko in there! Obviously wanted to cool down. We were offered beach chairs and thought how nice, took them to the beach. On checking out we were charged for the hire of said beach chairs. What else is nearby? Well, the beach is across the road about 500m away so that's good. The town is about 2.5 miles. The nearest restaurants: Sakura. Great food but you pay for it. There's a pizzeria which is great too. Make sure you ask for a small one...

A pousada é muito agradável, e bem simples. A limpeza é boa, o colchão é bom, o café da manhã é bem variado, tem frutas, bolos, pão com algumas misturas, salgados, sucos, e o café é muito bom.

A localização também é interessante, fica bem próximo da praia, farmácia, mercados, posto e alguns restaurantes. Tudo à poucas quadras.

O atendimento é muito bom, o senhor Silvio é muito cortês e sempre orienta da melhor forma possível.

O Ar condicionado do quarto que fiquei funciona muito bem.

Apenas alguns pontos a melhorar, na minha opinião:

Chuveiro. Se estiver um dia de muito calor, você só vai conseguir tomar banho bem gelado ou bem quente. É preciso melhorar os chuveiros, ao menos o do quarto que fiquei.

Café: Não seria ruim ter café disponível durante o dia todo para os hóspedes. Pra tomar um cafezinho, o lugar mais próximo é no posto, e é de máquina.

Fita de LED: tem uma fita de led atrás da TV que eu ao menos não encontrei como apagar. Fica ligada a noite toda, atrapalha um pouco na hora de dormir, mas nada de mais.

O estacionamento para quem vai de carro é bem apertado.

Resumo: se você vai sem esperar grandes luxos, será muito bem atendido e ficará em um local bem agradável e bem localizado. É tudo bem simples, mas feito dedicação. Eu voltaria a me hospedar lá, principalmente se os pontos que apontei...

Curti: A pousada tem uma boa localização, pertinho da praia. Café da manhã ótimo, muito variado, gostei muito. A limpeza é excelente, a família de funcionários são todos atenciosos.

Não curtiu · O quarto que fiquei era bem quente, e o ar nao dava conta de gelar, mesmo estando na temperatura mínima, deveria fazer uma manutenção nele para melhora-lo, pq acaba q puxa muita energia ar sem manutenção, virando um desperdício de energia para a pousada, pq faz a gente colocar no mínimo sempre e mesmo assim nao tava dando!! O chuveiro sai agua muitoooo quente, de chegar a queimar sua pele, mesmo estando na opção de agua morna, eu acabei tomando banho frio mesmo, mas tomar banho frio todo dia tb não é legal, pq teve dia que estava nublado, apesar do quarto ser quente, o banheiro tinha uma temperatura mais amena, por isso uma agua morna ja cairia bem, mas pelando nao dá e muito menos agua gelada rs, deveriam ver esse lance dessa agua desiquilibrada desse chuveiro,...
