Hotel Meissner Hof — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Pouso Alegre

The hotel is old and it would be great if they could make some refurbishment in what concerns furniture, carpets etc. However, all that becomes less important than the location which is absolutely why we chose this hotel. The window sight to the lovely garden/woods makes you feel very relaxed. The hotel is situated in the "untouched" part of the town, that means you are still surrounded by green areas and huge trees. All the inside recreational areas are not big: small room for playing cards, small room with table tennis, small room with snooker. The dining area is not big either, in case the hotel is full, you will need to wait to be seated. The small chapel adds charm to the lovely BIG garden. The breakfast contains many items and on Friday nights there is a free soup as well as on Saturday lunch a free Feijoada buffet. This courtesy is much appreciated. The outdoor pool is always sunny and the mini-golf and tennis are bathed by sunlight as well. Almost all rooms have a fireplace, which must be imperative in Winter time.We chose a master bedroom with wooden floors and it was very comfortable, though the furniture was outdated.The wi-fi worked very well in all areas.||The heated swimming pool is not big but makes a difference. Quebramos um copo no quarto, copo de uns 2 reais no máximo, cobraram 50 reais. Não recomendo, lugar 0 noção, vista bonita tem em Monte Verde todo, procurem outro lugar ! EDIT ABAIXO Bom, como o pós atendimento do hotel é sem noção, vou deixar um review formal da forma que eles gostam de responder !

Piscina Verde e Suja Não conseguimos pedir bebidas do bar durante nossa estadia pois o funcionário nunca estava presente. Cobram taxa extra para lenha Água quente limitada, se for com a família foquem em banhos rápidos Os atendentes foram educados, porém nunca conseguia resolver os problemas. Outros hospedes que estavam nos chalés pediram cobertas extras e não tinha cobertas disponíveis.Monte Verde é um local frio, então boa sorte ! Tinha pertences de outros hospedes, como uma caixa de remédio. Deixamos as roupas sujas em baixo da pia do banheiro em um compartimento que existe, no último dia descobrimos que estava vazando e encharcou todas as nossas roupas. Nós hospedemos em 3, deixaram dois copos para usufruirmos. Internet do local, extremamente ruim, não conseguimos assistir nada no notebook que levamos. A cereja do bolo, foi que quebramos um copo que deixam no quarto por acidente, um copo mesmo e bem simples, e então cobraram uma taxa de R$50 por ele.

Verifiquei o ocorrido e o “copo” que menciona é uma taça que infelizmente foi quebrada.

RESPOSTA: DE FORMA ALGUMA ERA UMA TAÇA !

É importante lembrarmos que teremos que nos deslocar até o local para providenciarmos outra igual para repor a quebrada e o custo da mesma.

Com isso, dentro do valor está incluso o preço da taça mais o nosso deslocamento.

Porém se achou uma taça igualzinha por R$ 2,00 como diz ser, poderia ter comprado e substituído, que não haveria problema.

Meissner-Hof is a quite exquisite hotel, located in the top of a valley in Monte Verde. This a family-owned business and the patrons can see the touch of the owner in every little aspect of the hotel. Decoration is superb in all ambiences. The master room has a fireplace with the firewood being replaced daily and has a deja-vu feeling, since make you feel like you are in the Bonanza tv set, although the architeture is supposed to emulate the Bavarian-German style. The hotel has a private chapel where marriages are ocasionally celebrated and a nice way to reach it, with kiwi trees on the side, a wood bridge. Quite relaxing. Restaurant is good, and the breaksfast, although not providing a full continental menu, has tasty homemade Brazilian treaties. For leisure, there are two swimming pools.
