Costa Atlântico Hotel — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de São Luís

I returned to this hotel as a base for concerts and culture, for my fiancee's birthday, primarily after my positive experience the last time. The staff have learnt more English (although to my shame my Portuguese is little improved) and the service is even better than before (not that there was much improvement possible). They even recommend the taxi firms with the best rates now, and the reception is happy to call any numbers for reservations, saving both call charges and any language issues.||The restaurant was a top deal too. I don't usually eat in my hotel (except for the excellent inclusive breakfast), because i like to experience variety in the areas I visit, however, when I used the restaurant for the odd lunch or dinner, it was always freshly prepared food and extremely tasty at a bargain price. The hotel is situated away from the downtown area of Sao Luis. The room and the bathroom were spacious enough and clean except for some mold in the corners in the bathroom. Some few free toiletries were also provided.|| All staff were helpful although English might be an issue beside the guys at the reception. || The breakfast was very good with a lot of things to choose from although many were cakes and other sweets. Viajei para São Luís a trabalho com uma colega por 2 dias e, ao fim da jornada de trabalho, optamos por permanecer no mesmo hotel para descansar e conhecer um pouco da cidade por mais 2 dias. Neste caso, apenas trocamos de quartos para esses 2 dias extras.||||O atendimento foi muito bom por parte dos funcionários desde o check-in. O café da manhã era gostoso, incluindo opções de sucos de frutas típicas do Nordeste e preparações como tapioca, bolo de macaxeira etc. O hotel é modesto e sem luxos, mas os quartos eram confortáveis e bem limpos, com itens de higiene pessoal embalados individualmente.||||Os únicos inconvenientes foram chegar no novo quarto (no dia que acabaram as estadias por trabalho) e não ter luz no banheiro, tendo que realizar mais uma troca de quarto. Ao chegar na outra acomodação, não havia toalhas de rosto nem tapete para sair do banho, somente as toalhas de banho. Falei com um dos funcionários da recepção, que prontamente solicitou que um colega levasse as toalhas e o tapete. Nada que atrapalhasse a estadia, pois foi resolvido.
