Iguatemi Business Flat — Hotel in Região Geográfica Imediata de Salvador

I stayed at this hotel with three friends during the World Cup. It is a very nice hotel, rooms not large, but comfortable and clean. It was exactly the wrong hotel for us but for someone wanting American style comforts it should be great. Breakfast is good and plentiful. I don't remember about the internet thing another reviewer mentioned. They must have had it in the room or I would have remembered the lack of it. There is a nice pool on the roof and there are great views of the city from there. They don't call it a business hotel for nothing. It's not close to anything a tourist would want to see in Salvador but it's a safe location with pretty good taxi service, so if you prefer more familiar surroundings this might be a good choice for you. For us, we'd have preferred to be closer to the waterfront with all the local bars instead of going to a mall with chain...

Nice staff, the elevators are quick, fresh fruits and juices and coffee present at breakfast, the vicinity is clean, great view area from the hotel as you can tell from the photos I've posted, fellow visitors are polite usually say good morning or good day, Taxis are usually right in front of the hotel, if not, then there is a line up of them on the side street from the corner of the hotel area, oh hey the mall 'Shopping da Bahia' (previously called 'Iguatemi') is right across the street (and here's a tip, enter the mall from inside the parking lot, just lookout for cars while crossing and such), and did I mention there is a Walmart like just steps way (maybe one quick block), hotel also has wifi, and a weight room, so thence and hence the hotel is a great experience all around I say :) wishing you all the best on...

Hotel decadente, que cobra um valor alto e presta um serviço de péssima qualidade.

Primeiramente, destaco o hotel em si não é dono dos quartos. Cada quarto tem um dono específico. No meu caso, reservei pela Decolar sem saber de tal fato. Quando cheguei no hotel, minha reserva não aparecia e os recepcionistas disseram que não podiam fazer nada a respeito, que eu teria que esperar o dono do quarto liberar. Por sorte, o dono liberou o quarto APENAS 01 HORA após a reserva. Caso você reserve e o dono do quarto não veja naquele dia, você terá que dormir na rua, já que o hotel não resolve.

Aparentemente o hotel já foi bom em algum momento, hoje encontra-se em completa decadência. Com o valor cobrado pela diária, o viajante pode se hospedar em outros concorrentes com muito mais qualidade.

Como pontos positivos posso citar: A localização privilegiada, ao lado do Shopping da Bahia (antigo Iguatemi) e com acesso fácil à avenida Paralela; Limpeza impecável e com ótimos protocolos relacionados à covid-19; Estacionamento Grátis (pelo preço pago é o mínimo); Quarto com cozinha; Dormida confortável.

Já os pontos negativos são: Preço alto para o que oferece. Cobra o preço de um hotel 3 estrelas e oferece um serviço de hotel econômico; O café da manhã é vergonhoso. Nunca fiquei em um hotel que tivesse um café da manhã tão fraco. Não tem metade do que aparecem nas fotos colocadas nos sites de reserva; Todas as instalações são velhas. O hotel aparente não recebe uma boa manutenção há anos. O chuveiro molha todo o banheiro, menos a pessoa que está tomando banho, em razão do limo impregnado nos furos de vazão; O hotel começa a partir do 9º andar.
